Weiterfahrt nach Springbok, der "Hauptstadt des Namaqualandes". Mit etwas Glück können Sie erleben, wie sich die scheinbar trostlose Wüste nach einem kurzen Regenschauer in ein endlos erscheinendes, farbenprächtiges ***Blüten- und Blumenmeer*** verwandelt (Ende August/Anfang September). Der Besuch des Springbok Cafés ist ein Muss! Hier ist eine interessante Sammlung von Fotos, Mineral- und Halbedelsteinen zu sehen.

I wouldn't differentiate between "Blüten" and "Blumen" - it would sound too translated.

burst/carpet/montage/panorama/profusion/array/cascade/show/spread of blossoms and blooms

...or even 'sea of blossoms and blooms', should you wish to translate 'Meer' literally.
