Italian term
turno

season tickets
There have been a few questions on ProZ about this term but none which sound particularly authentic.
A theatre sells season tickets divided into 4 "Turni" and then on the website for each performance refers to that turno for season-ticket holders:
lunedi 9 aprile/ ore 20.30 [turno A]
mercoledì 11 aprile/ ore 20.30 [turno D]
giovedì 12 aprile/ ore 20.30 [fuori abbonamento]
venerdì 13 aprile/ ore 20.30 [turno B]
sabato 14 aprile / ore 18.00 [fuori abbonamento]
domenica 15 aprile/ ore 18.00 [turno C]
How would we express these "turni" at a British theatre? Does such a distinction actually exist?

These terms are used often in the U.S.
I'd avoid using "series." It is commonly used in reference to concerts (concert series). Anyhow, you may use other terms, such as "subscription combination," "subscription group," etc.

"Calendario per turni
Turni Ordinari

Teatro alla Scala calls them series in the EN version of their website

At the Old Vic, for instance, the only thing close to the above is the concessions section, which of course applies to the single performances, rather than a season ticket.

Here's another example, from the National Theatre

Thanks Barbara. Yes, I think series is horrible, like much of the English on the La Scala website! I shall keep looking |

: "Series" seems an obvious choice, and is widely used in a concert context. If you post it, I'll agree with it! .
