Italian term

in tutta la sua essenza ed estensione

Italian to English Law/Patents Law (general)
This is the last part of a lawsuit document. Here's the last paragraph of the document:
"Commiato: Il CTU ritiene di avere esaminato quanto connesso all’incarico ricevuto, in tutta la sua essenza ed estensione."

Discussion

Robert Mongiello (asker) Jul 13, 2010:
Here's something I found in Proz that can help you figure out what the "assignment" is: Court appointed experts (ctu) are very common in Italy and their function is to assist the court on any technical issues requiring specialist knowledge. Each party has the right to appoint their own expert (ctp) to dialogue with the court appointed one and make sure their views are taken into account when the ctu draws up the report for the court.
philgoddard Jul 13, 2010:
I know what these words mean - I'm just trying to find out what the assignment is.
philgoddard Jul 13, 2010:
What is the "incarico", and what does "esaminato" mean in this context? What have they been asked to do?
