termômetro tipo "capela"

É aquele termômetro vertical que se coloca na parede, de mercúrio, com um botão no meio (para zerar as leituras). Parece que chamam de "capela" pois, pela foto, tem um "telhadinho" de plástico em cima!

Não. A leitura não é digital. É olhando a marca do mercúrio mesmo. "Zerar", digo cancelar as leituras presentes, e fazer uma nova leitura depois, com o passar do tempo. Realmente não sei porque chamam em português de "capela". A única coisa que parece uma capela é o tal do "telhadinho".

disagree jack_speak : Some explanation might help, but I researched and all I could find for hood thermometer were references to the type built into the cover of an outdoor gas grill, certainly nothing related to a thermometer one attaches to a wall.
