Portuguese term

frente a prematuridade

Portuguese to English Science Medical: Health Care Infant reaching ability
Embora estudos demonstrem que há diferenças nas habilidades motoras entre lactentes pré-termo (PT) e a termo (AT), poucos estudos investigaram as diferenças no alcance manual e, particularmente, como se apresentam as variáveis cinemáticas do alcance manual frente a prematuridade

COMMENTS ON MY TRANSLATION ARE WELCOME

My interpretation of 'frente a' in this case means 'in the case of', 'bearing in mind the', or 'considering the'. However, I would suggest that in this phrase the structure be altered as below, to make for easier reading.
