: "shell" is a unix/linux concept, different from "программная оболочка": http://prometey.bsuir.unibel.by/update/open/confrc/oiivt/4_1... среда and п. оболочка are diff things. Dictionaries can be mistaken. ||"program shell", not "shell program"
