electronic racks?

Could this possibly be a back translation? It sounds like a literal rendition of "electronic racks”.

Racks Unlimited - Electronic Rack Enclosures also known as 19 inch computer Racks and Open Bay Racks and Relay Racks, Server Storage and Telecommunications Industry Racks are our specialty.

Eurobex Manufacturing now produces a complete line of industrial ***electronic racks*** designed to accommodate 19", 24" and 23" electronic and telecommunications equipment.

The typical data center for Web applications or B2B exchanges, for example, has tens or hundreds of servers arranged in ***19-inch racks,*** all requiring shared access to terabytes of file storage.

I usually see "racks" or "bastidores" in my Spanish source texts in this context; here it almost seems like someone has incorrectly translated rack from English and come up with "baca".

Just a thought, anyway.

agree Marina Soldati : You could be right, I haven´t thought about it. Greetings

I've done a lot of audio/electronics stuff, and they're always talking about racks, so that's probably why it occurred to me.
