Hola a todos.
Estoy traduciendo una carta emitida por el departamento de recursos humanos de una revista de circulación nacional, en la que le ofrecen el trabajo de analista de sistemas a un ciudadano X.
En la carta se habla de que:
"LA COMPENSACIÓN PROPUESTA PARA USTED COMPRENDE LO SIGUIENTE"
Y pasan a desglosar cuánto ganará como remuneración básica mensual, por concepto de bonificación por vacaciones, utilidades, caja de ahorro, etc.
Tengo un diccionario donde por COMPENSACIÓN me aparece la palabra allowance, relife, compensation, indemnity, pay-off.
Ahora bien, me pregunto si COMPENSACIÓN tiene en este contexto el sentido que le da la RAE: "acción de compensar" "dar alguna cosa en resarcimiento de daño o perjuicio" o si se refiere, sencillamente a su sueldo como personal de la revista en cuestión, en cuyo caso imagino que lo podría traducir como ALLOWANCE o SALARY.
