Spanish term
patrimonio laboral
Spanish to English
Bus/Financial
Human Resources
Collective bargaining agreements
Here is another little gem that I've been having trouble with:
"Se respetarán las condiciones laborales y salariales que pudieran exceder de las pactadas en este Convenio, manteniéndose en tal supuesto éstas, a título estrictamente personal, como garantía «Ad personam», incorporadas a su patrimonio laboral."
Does anybody know of a way to express this idea coherently in English? Could it possibly be "fringe benefits"?
Regards
Simon

working entitlements
Or employment/employee entitlements (pax enrfer).
(IMHO "compensation" sounds like a redundancy or insurance payment, rather than salary per se).

: I don't think you need to say "working".

Well, it maintains the "laboral" component of the original. I'd need to see it in the context of a first draft before deciding to omit it or not.

incorporated into his compensation package
It's about each employee keeping his or her personal benefits and entitlements

: "Su" refers to the agreement, surely. There's no mention of an employee, unless it's in the previous sentence.

Yes, I see that there is no explicit mention of the employee.

: Compensation package is perfectly fine. And "su" I think must refer to the employee, not the agreement (which clearly cannot have a "patrimonio").
