Existen diversos cotos de caza con Certificado de Calidad de Caza Mayor, pero ninguno de ellos ha tenido como cazador a los supuestos infractores ni se ha efectuado el trámite de precintado del trofeo. Por tanto, todo parece indicar que cazaron furtivamente en un coto sin autorización para la caza del Balearean Boc, y burlando el trámite de precintado y documentación del trofeo, por lo que se trata de un trofeo ilegal obtenido furtivamente incumpliendo las leyes y normativa de caza videntes en España.

I haven't been able to find a hunting term for "precintado" and am at a bit of a loss. I read through some big game field regulations online and came across the term tagging, and am wondering if this could be "kill tagging procedure"? Or could precintado mean "trapping"? Hopefully someone is familiar with this term. Thanks in advance.

I haven't found it as "sealing of trophy" when Googling but your instincts are right I think. The hunter must fix a seal or tag on the animal they've killed if they want to transport it back home (to be butchered/mounted etc). It seems this is common across many jurisdictions where a metal tag or seal is affixed

agree Charles Davis : Yes, it's tagging: see illustrations here: http://tinyurl.com/bsuseez . But it's strictly tagging the trophy, which is not the whole animal but the bit you take home to hang on the wall (typically the head).
