Any of the typical meanings of chorion just don't seem to fit here (especially since most of them are related to pregnancy), and I can't find any examples of corion used in conjunction with breast cancer.
Here's what I've got so far: "An atypical epithelial flap detached from the **chorion** is seen in another sample (intraductal component?)."

Oh, and regarding your question, all I've got about this flap is the sentence I included, so your guess is as good as mine. It's a reasonable supposition...
