Spanish term

marchar en revista

Spanish to English Other Military / Defense
I'm translating a document with some military terminology. I can't figure out what a 'marcha en revista' means ex. Las tropas marcharon en revista. Perhaps they left in order? It doesn't tell me much. Any ideas?
