Según los viñedos, las vides pueden vinificarse solos (vinos monocepa) o los mezclados (vinos de ensamblaje). Alsacia y Borgoña están como ejemplo de viñedos tradicionales cuyo origen es de vinos monocepa mientras que Châteauneuf-du-pape es la ilustración más obvia del concepto de montaje o vinos de ensamblaje (hasta 13 vides diferentes se autorizan). En un mismo viñedo, las dos prácticas pueden coexistir: así en Burdeos, el Médoc resultan a menudo de montaje, mientras que Saint Emilion y Pomerol son frecuentemente de puros merlot.

Coupage
Coupage
French term used to refer to the practice of blending wines from the same or different batches or harvests in order to combine their qualities or offset the defects of some wines with the qualities of others. Blended wine is the English term used for a mixture of wines with different characteristics which, together, create a wine that will reflect the qualities of its components.

assembling

extract of a translation for French wines: "Our white is result of the assembling of the Clos de Champaloin, Clos des Guéraldes and Clos de Davet parcels planted in sauvignon."
I always used to translate this notion of "assemblage" by "assembling" rather than "blended". Blended is more for Spirits in my point of view. And assembling for wines
