I stay awake later to check in on my European clientes before going to bed.

It would mean I would have to be up and about at 2 a.m. to be available to my European clients. They know I am 6 or 7 hours behind them, and they act accordingly.

Besides, it would mean I would have to stop work before my clients in North America, so it just wouldn't work, and besides, there is more to life than translating. I have to keep times with my family, daily life, etc.

All the time Jun 17, 2014

I have clients on all the continents except Antarctica. I alter my schedule as necessary, which sometimes means working through the night. I don't have children at home, so I don't mind.

Shift a little Jun 18, 2014

I am ready to shift my schedule a bit, up to 3-4 hours, but I almost never work at night, with a few exceptions before the deadline.

Exhibit A... Jun 18, 2014

It's 4:30 a.m.

I just finished and delivered a job for a client on another continent.

Off to bed!
