La evolución de cada participante fue comprobada cada tres meses durante los más de dos años que duró la investigación, dirigida por Arthur J. Mos, del Centro Médico de la Universidad de Rochester (Estados Unidos). Los resultados de su trabajo pusieron de manifiesto la gran efectividad de la terapia combinada. Según explican los investigadores, los beneficios se deben, fundamentalmente, a que la intervención logró reducir en aproximadamente un 41% el riesgo de insuficiencia cardiaca de estos pacientes. «Esta superioridad se dio tanto en pacientes que presentaban una cardiopatía isquémica [problemas en el suministro de oxígeno al corazón], como en aquéllos que presentaban otros trastornos», remarcan los investigadores, cuyas conclusiones se han publicado en la revista The New England Journal of Medicine. Translation - English A total of 731 patients were implanted with an internal defibrilator, while the other patients received both the internal defibrilator and a cardiac resynchronisation therapy. Each participant’s progress was checked every three months over the study’s more than two year duration. The investigation was directed by Arthur J. La digestión aerobia termófila autosostenida es un proceso de digestión aerobio de fangos que trabaja en el rango termófilo de temperatura (45 a 65ºC) sin aporte externo de calor; el calor de las reacciones que tienen lugar durante la degradación aerobia del lodo orgánico mantiene las temperaturas deseadas para el proceso. Este método de digestión de lodos, comparado con otro tipo de sistemas de digestión, tiene mayores ventajas, tal y como se ha comentado anteriormente.
El factor más importante en la digestión aerobia autosostenida es el desarrollo de métodos de aireación y agitación eficaces. Esto es necesario para responder a la gran demanda de oxígeno del sistema, minimizar las pérdidas de calor a través del aire de salida y disminuir costes. La transferencia de oxígeno y el caudal de aire de entrada dependen de factores como la geometría del sistema y las características del sustrato. Así, el estudio de los sistemas óptimos para estos procesos es primordial.
Por otro lado, una de los principales obstáculos de las digestiones termófilas ocurre cuando la temperatura se eleva por encima de 70ºC, produciéndose una muerte masiva de la biomasa. Se hace necesario, por tanto, investigar en este sentido para dar solución a esta problemática.

Self-sustaining thermophilic digestion is an aerobic sludge digestion process which works within a thermophilic range of temperature (45 to 65ºC) without any external heat contribution. On the other hand, one of the main obstacles to thermophilic digestion arises when the temperature moves above 70ºC, killing the biomass. Investigation is needed to solve this problem.

El proceso es capaz de dar de alta cualquier Activo Fijo en el sistema a través del módulo de finanzas con su valor de adquisición (sin referencia a pedido). Para poder dar de alta un activo fijo en SAP debe primero haberse creado su dato maestro en el sistema y por lo tanto su número de cuenta auxiliar.
El proceso contabiliza las facturas de compra de activos fijos a acreedores en el sistema. En cualquier caso, el sistema requerirá la entrada de una cabecera de documento con datos relevantes para la totalidad de la factura (fecha documento, fecha de contabilización, moneda, sociedad, número de factura, etc.,) y a continuación permite la entrada de cada una de las posiciones de la factura, las cuales serán iniciadas por medio de la clave de contabilización (Debe y Haber).
Estás describen que se va a crear en una posición del documento. Las características más importantes que se derivan de la clave de contabilización son las siguientes:
la clase de cuenta ( K de proveedores o A de Activos Fijos)
la asignación al Debe o al Haber, ( 31 para proveedores / haber y 70 activos / debe)
En la posición de documento también hay que introducir la clase de movimiento (100 alta por compra), este parámetro es específico para los movimientos contables de activos fijos. Para el resto de facturas tanto de acreedor como de deudor esta clase de movimiento no se tiene que introducir.
Al introducir las facturas se deberán especificar en una primera posición la clave contable (Debe), el número de cuenta auxiliar del activo, y la clase de movimiento (100 alta por compra), valor de adquisición del activo, indicador de IVA y texto posición del documento, en la segunda posición del documento se introduce la clave contable (Haber), el número de cuenta auxiliar del proveedor, el importe de la factura y campos informativos como el de asignación y el de texto posición del documento.

This process can register any fixed asset in the system via the finance module, along with its acquisition value (without reference to an order). To be able to register a fixed asset in SAP one must first have created its master in the system and its auxiliary account number.
The process enters into the system the fixed asset purchase invoices to creditors. In any particular instance, the system requires that a document heading be entered, complete with relevant data for the whole of the invoice (document date, date of accounting entry, currency, company, invoice number, etc.,). In the position of the document one must also input the operation class (100 registration per purchase), this parameter is specifically for the accounting movements of fixed assets. El hormigonado se hará de una sola vez y sin interrupciones. Se cuidará especialmente que las armaduras queden bien fijas; de modo que el recubrimiento sea el especificado en la vigente EHE, en el Proyecto y, en todo caso, superior a dos centímetros y medio (2,5 cm), materializándose éste mediante la disposición de separadores. La compactación del hormigón se hará por vibración.
La playa o plataforma sobre la cual se hormigonen los pilotes estará pavimentada con hormigón perfectamente liso y plano. Se comprobará que la resistencia del terreno es tal que no puedan producirse asientos que originen esfuerzos superiores a los que pueda resistir el pilote durante su periodo de endurecimiento. Esto habrá que tenerlo en especialmente en cuenta cuando se hormigonen varias capas de pilotes superpuestas, y la carga producida sobre el terreno pueda llegar a ser importante.
Las superficies de hormigón que puedan quedar en contacto con el pavimento de la plataforma, tales como las de la cara inferior de los pilotes, se pintarán con sustancias separadoras adecuadas, o se interpondrá una capa de papel, de modo que no sean precisos esfuerzos adicionales para arrancar los pilotes de su lugar de hormigonado.
Si la sección es poligonal se dispondrá, como mínimo, una (1) barra de armadura longitudinal en cada vértice. Si la sección es circular se repartirán uniformemente en el perímetro, con un mínimo de seis (6). En cualquier caso serán de una sola pieza. En punta y cabeza, y en una longitud no menor de tres (3) veces el diámetro de la circunferencia que circunscribe la sección transversal del pilote, se duplicará dicha cuantía.La punta del pilote dispondrá de un azuche apuntado, o bien, en una longitud mínima de treinta centímetros (30 cm) estará protegida por una cazoleta o por una pletina de acero.Cada pilote se marcará, cerca de la cabeza, con un número de identificación, la fecha de su hormigonado, en su caso la de pretensado, y su longitud.Se tomarán las precauciones usuales para un curado conveniente; el cual se prolongará lo necesario para que los pilotes adquieran la resistencia precisa para su transporte e hinca. Si los pilotes hubieran de ser hincados en terrenos agresivos, o quedar expuestos al agua del mar, el periodo de curado no podrá ser inferior a veintiocho (28) días. En este caso los pilotes habrán de protegerse con una pintura protectora adecuada, debiendo estudiarse la necesidad de utilizar un cemento resistente a la clase de exposición de que se trate.En la fabricación de pilotes de hormigón se tendrá en cuenta que éstos deberán ser capaces de soportar las operaciones de transporte, manejo e hinca de forma que no se produzcan roturas ni fisuras mayores de quince centésimas de milímetro (0,15 mm). No deberán tener una flecha, producida por si propio peso, mayor de tres milésimas partes (0,003) de su longitud, ni pandeos locales superiores a un centímetro por metro (1 cm/m) de longitud de éste.Si el pilote está constituido por varios tramos, los correspondientes empalmes se harán de forma que su resistencia no sea inferior a la de la sección normal del pilote y quede garantizada la perfecta alineación de los diversos tramos. Translation - English During the pile installation, metal formworks will be used which are sufficiently robust that the sides of the pile remain flat and smooth. Special care will be taken to ensure that the reinforcements are well fixed; so that the coverage will be that specified by the current EHE, the Project Plan and, in all circumstances, greater than two and a half centimetres (2.5 cm), this being effected by the positioning of separators. Compacting of the concrete will be done with vibration.
The yard or platform on which the piles are concreted will be paved perfectly flat and smooth with concrete. It will be checked that the resistance of the earth is such that depressions will not be produced, requiring energies greater than the pile would be able to withstand during its period of hardening. This will especially have to be taken into account when concreting the piles with various superimposed layers, and the load exerted on the earth can be important.
The concrete surfaces which may come into contact with the platform pavement, such as the lower sides of the pile, will be painted with suitable separating substances, or a layer of paper will be inserted between the two, in such a way that lifting the piles from their concreting area will not require extra effort.
If the cross-section is polygonal, at least one (1) longitudinal reinforcing bar will be placed at each vertex. If the cross-section is circular, the reinforcing bars will be equidistantly distributed on the circumference, with a minimum of six (6) bars. In all circumstances the bars will be one single part. The fixing will be made, when necessary, by means of welding, and there will not be more than one (1) fixing in the same transverse section of the pile.With the non prestressed reinforced concrete piles, the reinforcement will have a relational amount to the pile’s transverse section of no less than one point two five percent (1.25%). The diameter of the bars will be no less than twelve millimetres (12 mm).The transversal reinforcement will have a relational amount to the pile volume of no less than nought point two percent (0.2%) along its whole length. Its diameter will be no less than six millimetres (6 mm). This amount will be duplicated at either end, and at a length of no less than three (3) times the diameter of the circumference which circumscribes the pile’s transverse section.The lower end of the pile will have a pointed shoe, or it will be protected for a minimum length of thirty centimeters (30 cm) by a steel casing or a steel shim.Each pile will be marked, close to the head, with an identification number, the date of its concreting, its date of prestressing (if applicable), and its length.The usual precautions will be taken for a suitable curing; which will be afforded the necessary time to ensure that the piles acquire the level of resistance needed for their transport and installation. If the piles need to be driven into difficult ground, or be exposed to seawater, the curing period must not be less than twenty-eight (28) days. When this is the case, the piles will have to be protected with an appropriate paint protection, and the necessity for using a cement resistant to the kind of exposure the pile will be subject to must be studied.In the fabrication of concrete piles it will be taken into account that the piles must be able to withstand the processes of transport, handling and driving, so that no fractures or cracks greater than fifteen hundredths of a millimeter (0.15 mm) will be produced. There must be no sag, produced by its own weight, greater than three thousandths (0.003) of the pile’s length. Nor should there be local buckling greater than one centimetre per metre (1 cm/m) of the pile length.If the pile is composed of various sections, the corresponding section fixings will be done so that the pile resistance is not inferior to that of a normal pile section, and the perfect alignment of the different sections will be guaranteed. In Figure 4 of the Appendix you can see some examples of metallic fixings for prefabricated concrete piles.In the prestressed piles the prestressing tensions will be of an order which enables the piles to withstand the forces of handling, transportation, and driving, as well as the forces of maintenance.

Source text - Spanish Pepito Chispiñas era un niño tan sensible, tan sensible, que tenía cosquillas en el pelo. Bastaba con tocarle un poco la cabeza, y se rompía de la risa. Y cuando le daba esa risa de cosquillas, no había quien le hiciera parar.
Así que Pepito creció acostrumbrado a situaciones raras: cuando venían a casa las amigas de su abuela, siempre terminaba desternillado de risa, porque no faltaba una viejecita que le tocase el pelo diciendo "qué majo".
Y los días de viento eran la monda, Pepito por el suelo de la risa en cuanto el viento movía su melena, que era bastante larga porque en la peluquería no costaba nada que se riera sin parar, pero lo de cortarle el pelo, no había quien pudiera.
Verle reir era, además de divertidísimo, tremendamente contagioso, y en cuanto Pepito empezaba con sus cosquillas, todos acababan riendo sin parar, y había que interrumpir cualquier cosa que estuvieran haciendo.
Así que, según se iba haciendo más mayor, empezaron a no dejarle entrar en muchos sitios, porque había muchas cosas serias que no se podían estropear con un montón de risas. Pepito hizo de todo para controlar sus cosquillas: llevó mil sombreros distintos, utillizó lacas y gominas ultra fuertes, se rapó la cabeza e incluso hizo un curso de yoga para ver si podía aguantar las cosquillas relajándose al máximo, pero nada, era imposible.
Y deseaba con todas sus fuerzas ser un chico normal, así que empezó a sentirse triste y desgraciado por ser diferente.
Hasta que un día en la calle conoció un payaso especial. Era muy viejecito, y ya casi no podía ni andar, pero cuando le vio triste y llorando, se acercó a Pepito para hacerle reír. No le tardó mucho en hacer que Pepito se riera, y empezaron a hablar. Pepito le contó su problema con las cosquillas, y le preguntó cómo era posible que un hombre tan anciano siguiera haciendo de payaso.
- No tengo quien me sustituya- dijo él, - y tengo un trabajo muy serio que hacer.
Carlitos le miró extrañado; "¿serio?, ¿un payaso?", pensaba tratando de entender. Y el payaso le dijo:
- Ven, voy a enseñartelo.
Entonces el payaso le llevó a recorrer la ciudad, parando en muchos hospitales, casas de acogida, albergues, colegios... Todos estaban llenos de niños enfermos o sin padres, con problemas muy serios, pero en cuanto veían aparecer al payaso, sus caras cambiaban por completo y se iluminaban con una sonrisa. Su ratito de risas junto al payaso lo cambiaba todo, pero aquel día fue aún más especial, porque en cada parada las cosquillas de Pepito terminaron apareciendo, y su risa contagiosa acabó con todos los niños por los suelos, muertos de risa.
Cuando acabaron su visita, el anciano payaso le dijo, guiñándole un ojo.
- ¿Ves ahora qué trabajo tan serio? Por eso no puedo retirarme, aunque sea tan viejito.
- Es verdad -respondió Pepito con una sonrisa, devolviéndole el guiño- no podría hacerlo cualquiera, habría que tener un don especial para la risa. Y eso es tan difícil de encontrar... -dijo Pepito, justo antes de que el viento despertara sus cosquillas y sus risas.
Y así, Pepito se convirtió en payaso, sustituyendo a aquel anciano tan excepcional, y cada día se alegraba de ser diferente, gracias a su don especial.
Translation - English Pete Sparks was a sensitive boy. So sensitive that even his hair was ticklish. You only had to touch his hairdo a little bit and he would burst out laughing. And when this ticklish laughter started no one could make him stop.
So Pete grew up used to strange situations. When his Granny’s friends came to visit he would always end up in stitches because there was never any shortage of little old ladies rubbing his head and saying ‘How cute!’
Windy days were the worst, with Pete on the ground, paralysed by laughter whenever the breeze blew on his locks, which, incidentally, were pretty long because at the barber shop no one could manage to cut his hair, due to the non-stop giggling.
To see Pete laugh, as well as being great fun, was terribly contagious. When Pete started feeling ticklish everyone ended up in endless laughter, and they had to just give up whatever they had been busy doing.
As Pete grew up people started to ban him from certain places. Some activities are serious business, and cannot be done amid gales of laughter. So Pete tried everything to control his ticklishness: he tried wearing a thousand different hats, he used ultra strong hairsprays and gels, he shaved his head, and he even went on a yoga course to see if he could bear the tickling by relaxing himself to the max.But nothing worked; it was impossible.
He wanted, with all his strength, to just be a normal boy. So, as time went on, he began to feel sad and ill-fated for being different.
This went on until, one day in the street, he met a special clown. The clown was very old, and now could hardly walk, but when he saw Pete sad and in tears he approached him to cheer him up. It didn’t take long to make Pete laugh, and they started to talk. Pete told him about his ticklish problem, and he asked the clown how such an old man could carry on being a clown.
‘I have no one to replace me,’ said the clown, ‘and I have a very serious job to do.’ Pete looked at him, surprised, and thought ‘serious? A clown?’ trying to understand what the old man had told him.
‘Come, I’ll show you’ said the clown.
So the clown took Pete all over the city, to many hospitals, shelters, refuges, schools… All were full of children who were sick, or orphaned; children with very serious problems. But as soon as they saw the clown their faces changed completely and lit up with a smile. Their short while spent with the clown changed everything for them, but that day was even more special because in every show Pete’s ticklishness would inevitably make an appearance, and his contagious laughter would end up with the kids laid on the floor, dying with laughter.
When the visit came to an end the old clown winked at Pete and said, ‘Now do you see what a serious job it is? That’s why I can’t retire, even at my age.’
‘It’s true,’ answered Pete, smiling and returning the wink, ‘not everyone could do it, you have to have a special gift for laughter. And that’s so hard to find.’ This said, the wind again set off his ticklishness and his laughter.
And so it was that Pete became a clown, and replaced the special old man. And from that day onward the fact that Pete was different actually made him happy, all thanks to his special gift.
