I am a freelancer working on English – Indonesian and English –
Javanese language pairs and vice versa. These are the things I am interested in:
Projects or contracts in translation, localisation, and/or transcription. My
specialisation covers general translation from advertising, humanities,
education, and politics to basic legalese, health, and economy. I also do SOPs,
mining, communication and transportation, farming and gardening, food and
recipes, and oil and gas. I worked as an in-house translator for a power plant for
two years, which gave me a rich experience in translating technical terms and
general engineering.

For translation, I work in SDL Trados Studio, Passolo, and Wordfast,
while for transcription, I use Aegisub and Subtitle Edit or whichever platform
provided/ requested by the client. I manage my Termbases and translation
memories to ensure that they are of the best quality for my work. My
experience of 18 years provides me with rich experience in handling various
types of documents, managing my workflow, and collaborate with other
translators.
