Bio

Gabby Doherty is from Mexico and started working as an interpreter and translator since 2003 when she moved to Kansas. She has a Bachelor’s Degree as a Montessori Educator and a degree in Public Administration from the “Universidad del Claustro de Sor Juana” in Mexico City. Her main expertise is Spanish<>English, but she also speaks Italian and French. Before coming to the United States, she was part of the Board of Directors of the Sister Cities Association, where she served as President for several terms, and as Treasurer for two terms. She was also GM and Administrator of a Golf Club for six years. Over the last few years, she has served as Secretary and as Director for the MICATA Board of Directors. This year, she would welcome the opportunity to keep serving MICATA as Director and to continue to participate in the increasing range of activities that this great organization offers to its members. She wants to continue to be part of this hard-working group of professionals who promote MICATA, and provide the membership with opportunities to improve their professional skills and increase networking opportunities for its members with social activities.
