In my work, I blend three of my (many) passions – my love of books, my love of the cinema, and my appetite for travel. For 15 years now I have been translating mainly literature, travel books, TV shows and movies. I'm a former Chair of the Israel Translators Association, and for 8 years I taught subtitling and literary translation at Beit Berl College. I translated almost 80 books, including The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova (Modan, 2006), The World is Flat by Thomas Friedman (Arie Nir, 2005) The Known World by Edward P. Jones (Opus, 2007) and a new translation of Ayn Rand's The Fountainhead. |
