Bio
I am a Chinese to English translator based in Edinburgh, United Kingdom. I began translating in 2005 for churches in Canada, the US, the UK, and Taiwan, with contents encompassing religion, education, philosophy, health, and medicine. In 2012, I moved to Edinburgh, where I became a full-time freelance translator.

Prior to becoming a freelance translator, I had worked part-time and full-time in the academia for 10 years, and had published in health and medical peer-reviewed journals.

Specialist Areas and Work Methods
Academically trained in the health and social sciences, I am able to work with research papers, theses, journal articles, and clinical trial documentation. I pride myself in the care I take in completing my translations: meticulously researching terminology, carefully checking it against the source document, and thoroughly proofreading it to ensure that it's error-free.
