degradation, and the crippling extremes of
wealth and poverty, the transformation from a culture
of unfettered consumerism to a culture of sustainability
has gained momentum in large part through the efforts of
civil society organizations and governmental agencies worldwide.
Beyond informed policies and ‘greener technologies’ it
is a transformation that will require an earnest examination
of our understanding of human nature and of the cultural
frameworks driving institutions of government, business,
education, and media around the world. Questions of what
is natural and just will need to be critically re-examined.
Translation - Arabic خلافًا لما يجري من تغيّر في المناخ، وتدهور في البيئة، وإفراط مَرَضيٍّ في كلّ من الغنى والفقر، نجد أنّ التحوّل من الثقافة الاستهلاكية المطلقة إلى ثقافة الاستدامة قد اكتسبَ زخمًا في أماكن كثيرة، وذلك من خلال جهود المنظمات الاجتماعية المدنيّة والوكالات الحكومية في أنحاء العالم. إنّ وراء السياسات المستنيرة، و"التكنولوجيات الخضراء" تحوّلاً يتطلّب فحصًا جادًّا لإدراكنا للطبيعة الإنسانية، ولإدراكنا لأُطُر العمل الثقافية التي تسوق المؤسسات الحكومية والتجارية والتعليمية والإعلامية حول العالم. يجب أن يُعاد النظر بطريقة ناقدة في أسئلة من قبيل ما "الطبيعي" و"العادل". إن قضية أنماط الاستهلاك والإنتاج المستدامة التي تُعنى بها هذه اللجنة، لفي حاجة لأن ينظر لها في سياق أوسعَ لنظام اجتماعيّ عليل هي جزء منه؛ نظامٍ يتّسم بالتنافس، والعنف، والصراع، وانعدام الأمن.

Source text - Arabic أعلنت وزارة الخارجية العراقية، عن مناقشتها مع حلف الشمال الأطلسي الناتو، فتح ملحقية عسكرية للبلاد في مقر الحلف في بروكسل عاصمة بلجيكا ضمن إطار الاتفاق المشترك بين الجانبين. وذكر بيان للوزارة تلقته وكالة الصحافة المستقلة (إيبا)- اليوم الاربعاء إن الوزير "هوشيار زيباري وبدعوة من الأمانة العامة للناتو التقى بمساعد الأمين العام للحلف إلكسندر فيرشباو في مقر الحلف في بروكسل وجرى خلال اللقاء بحث العلاقات المتطورة بين العراق والناتو في ضوء اتفاق الشراكة الموقع بين البلدين، وإمكانية تطويرها بشكل أكبر من خلال فتح ملحقية عسكرية للعراق في بلجيكا تقوم بمتابعة العلاقة مع الحلف في المجالات التي يحددها اتفاق الشراكة". وأضاف البيان أن زيباري "اجتمع بمجلس الحلف المؤلف من 28 دولة، وجرى خلال الاجتماع بحث ميادين التعاون ولاسيما في مجال بناء القدرات وأمن الطاقة ومحاربة الإرهاب فضلاً عن المسائل الأخرى المتعلقة بالتطورات والتغيرات السياسية الجارية في منطقة الشرق الاوسط وموقف العراق من هذه التطورات".
Translation - English Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced its discussions with the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) regarding the opening of the country's military Attaché at NATO’s headquarters in Brussels, Belgium’s capital, within the framework of a common agreement between the two sides. A statement of the Ministry, received by the Independent Press Agency (IPA) today-Wednesday, announced that the Minister, Hoshyar Zebari, in an invitation by the General Secretariat of NATO, met with Assistant Secretary General of NATO, Alexander Vershbow, at NATO’s headquarters in Brussels. They discussed, during the meeting, the developed relations between Iraq and NATO in the light of the partnership agreement signed between the two countries and the possibility of developing it more through opening a military Attaché for Iraq in Belgium, which follows up the relation with NATO in all the fields specified in the partnership agreement. The statement added that Zebari ‘met with the NATO council that constitutes of 28 countries. They discussed their cooperation domains specially in the field of building capacities, energy security, fight against terrorism as well as other issues related to the current political changes and developments in the Middle East and Iraq’s position of them’.

Les réseaux neuronaux de l’enfant se forment dès l’âge de la maternelle (UNICEF 2002, 6) et après cette période, il s’agit de les préserver en adoptant des comportements sains, comme la pratique d’activités physiques et la fréquentation de l’école. Au niveau du cerveau, l’enfant est destiné à vivre une maturation cérébrale, c’est-à-dire une transformation positive du cerveau qui favorisera la consolidation des compétences cognitives, très faibles au stade de la petite enfance, mais qui connaissent une importance notable à partir de la moyenne enfance, comme la capacité d’apprentissage.

تتكوّن الشبكات العصبيّة للطفل في سنّ الحضانة (يونسيف 2002، 6)، وبعد هذه المرحلة يتمّ الحفاظ على تلك الشبكات من خلال تبنّي سلوكيّاتٍ سليمة كممارسة الأنشطة البدنيّة والمواظبة على الحضور في المدرسة. على مستوى الدّماغ، يُقدَّرُ للطفل أن يعيش نضوجًا دماغيًّا، أي تحوَّلاً إيجابيًّا للدماغ يعزّز استحكام المهارات المعرفيّة –كالقدرة على التعلّم- التي تكون ضعيفةً جدَّا في مرحلة الطفولة المبكّرة، إلاّ إنّها تصبح ذات أهميّة كبرى بدءًا من مرحلة الطفولة المتوسّطة.

I have over 15 years of experience in translation and I am a native speaker of Arabic and Persian(Farsi).
