1.3 Significant accounting policies
1.3.1 Basis of preparation
The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost basis.
As required by Saudi Arabian insurance regulations, the Company maintains separate accounts for Insurance Operations and Shareholders’ Operations. The physical custody of all assets related to the Insurance Operations and Shareholders’ Operations are held by the Company. Revenues and expenses clearly attributable to either activity are recorded in the respective accounts. The basis of allocation of other revenue and expenses from joint operations is as determined by the management and Board of Directors. As per the bye-laws of the Company, the deficit arising from the Insurance Operations is allocated fully to Shareholders Operations whereas any surplus arising from the Insurance Operations is distributed as follows:
Shareholders: 90%
Policyholders: 10%
The financial statements of the Company have been prepared in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (“IFRS”). Accordingly these financial statements are not intended to be a presentation in conformity with the accounting standards generally accepted in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as issued by the Saudi Organization for Certified Public Accountants (“SOCPA”).
The functional and presentation currency of the Company is Saudi Riyals.
1.3.2 Key accounting policies
1.3.2.1 Property and equipment
Property and equipment are measured at cost less accumulated depreciation and any impairment in value. Cost includes expenditure that is directly attributable to the acquisition of the assets. Expenditure for repair and maintenance is charged to statement of insurance operations. Improvements that increase the value or materially extend the life of the related assets are capitalised. Depreciation is charged to the statement of insurance operations on a straight line basis over the estimated useful lives of the assets. The estimated useful lives of the assets for the calculation of depreciation are as follows:

If any such indication exists and where the carrying values exceed the estimated recoverable amount, the assets are written down to their recoverable amount.
1.3.2.2 Accounts payable and accruals
Liabilities are recognised for amounts to be paid in the future for goods or services received, whether billed by the supplier or not.
1.3.2.3 Provisions
Provisions are recognised when the Company has an obligation (legal or constructive) arising from a past event, and the costs to settle the obligation are both probable and may be measured reliably. Provisions are not recognised for future operating losses.
1.3.2.4 Leases
Operating lease payments are recognised as an expense in the statement of insurance operations on a straight-line basis over the lease term.
1.3.2.5 Zakat and income tax
Zakat and income tax are provided for in accordance with Saudi Arabian fiscal regulations. Zakat and income tax are accrued and charged to the statement of shareholders’ comprehensive operations.
1.3.2.6 Employees’ terminal benefits
Employees’ terminal benefits are accrued currently and are payable as a lump sum to all employees under the terms and conditions of Saudi Labour Regulations on termination of their employment contracts. The liability is calculated as the current value of the vested benefits to which the employee is entitled, should the employee leave at reporting date. Terminal benefits payments are based on employees’ final salaries and allowances and their cumulative years of service, as defined by Saudi Arabian Labour Law.
1.3.2.7 Cash and cash equivalents
Cash and cash equivalents for the purposes of statement of shareholders’ cash flows comprise of cash at banks and short-term deposits, if any, with an original maturity of ninety days or less from the date of acquisition.
1.3.2.8 Revenue recognition (Recognition of premium and commission revenue)
Premiums and commission are taken into “statement of insurance operations” over the terms of the policies to which they relate on a pro-rata basis, so that the revenue is recognized over the period of the risk. Unearned premiums represent the portion of premiums written relating to the unexpired period of coverage. The change in the provision for unearned premiums is taken to the “statement of insurance operations”, over the period of risk.
Retained premiums and commission income, which relate to unexpired risks beyond the end of the financial period, are reported as unearned and deferred based on the actual number of days for other lines of business.
The underwriting results represents premiums earned, fee and commission income earned less claims paid, other underwriting expenses and anticipated claims payable in respect of the period, net of amounts subject to reinsurance, less provision for any anticipated future losses on continuing policies.
1.3.2.9 Special commission income
Special commission income on short-term and time deposits is accrued on an effective yield basis.
1.3.2.10 Insurance contract
Insurance contracts are defined as those containing significant insurance risk at the inception of the contract or those where at the inception of the contract there is a scenario with commercial substance where the level of insurance risk may be significant. The significance of insurance risk is dependent on both the probability of an insured event and the magnitude of its potential effect.
Once a contract has been classified as an insurance contract, it remains an insurance contract for the remainder of its lifetime, even if the insurance risk reduces significantly during this period.
1.3.2.11 Claims
Claims consist of amounts payable to policy holders and third parties and related loss adjustment expenses, net of salvage and other recoveries and are charged to statement of insurance operations. Gross outstanding claims comprise gross estimated cost of claims incurred but not settled at the reporting date, whether reported or not. Provisions for reported claims not paid as of the financial reporting date are made on the basis of individual case estimates. The Company does not discount its liabilities for unpaid claims as substantially all claims are expected to be paid within one year of the financial reporting date.
1.3.2.12 Outstanding claims and other technical reserves
The Company generally estimates its claims based on previous experience. In addition a provision based on management’s judgment is maintained for the cost of settling claims “incurred but not reported” and “unallocated loss adjustment expense reserve” at the reporting date. Any difference between the provisions at the balance sheet date and settlements and provisions for the following period is included in the underwriting account for that period. The Company acquires services of an independent actuary to determine such claims.
The outstanding claims are shown on a gross basis and the related share of the reinsurers is shown separately.
The estimation of the ultimate liability arising from claims made under insurance contracts is the Company's most critical accounting estimate. There are several sources of uncertainty that need to be considered in estimating the liability that the Company will ultimately pay for such claims. The provision for claims incurred but not reported is an estimation of claims which are expected to be reported subsequent to the end of financial reporting period, for which the insured event has occurred prior to the end of the financial reporting period.
1.3.2.13 Deferred policy acquisition cost
Commissions and other costs directly related to the acquisition and renewal of insurance contracts are deferred and amortised over the terms of the insurance contracts to which they relate as premiums are earned. Amortisation is recorded in the “statement of insurance operations”.
Changes in the expected useful life or the expected pattern of consumption of future economic benefits embodied in the asset are accounted for by changing the amortisation period and are treated as a change in accounting estimate.
An impairment review is performed at each financial reporting date or more frequently when an indication of impairment arises. When the recoverable amounts are less than the carrying value, an impairment loss is recognised in the statement of insurance operations. Deferred policy acquisition cost is also considered in the liability adequacy test for each financial reporting period.
1.3.2.14 Reinsurance
The Company cedes insurance risk in the normal course of business for all of its businesses under which the Company is compensated for losses on insurance contracts issued. Reinsurance assets represent balances due from reinsurance companies. Recoverable amounts are estimated in a manner consistent with the outstanding claims provision and are in accordance with the reinsurance contract.
An impairment review is performed at each reporting date or more frequently when an indication of impairment arises during the reporting period. Impairment occurs when objective evidence exists that the Company may not recover outstanding amounts under the terms of the contract and when the impact on the amounts that the Company will receive from the reinsurer can be measured reliably. The impairment loss is recorded in the “statement of insurance operations”.
Ceded reinsurance arrangements do not relieve the Company from its obligations to policyholders. Premiums and claims on assumed reinsurance are recognised as income and expenses in the same manner as they would be if the reinsurance were considered direct business, taking into account the product classification of the reinsured business.
Reinsurance liabilities represent balances due to reinsurance companies. Amounts payable are estimated in a manner consistent with the associated reinsurance contract. Premiums and claims are presented on a gross basis for both ceded and assumed reinsurance. Reinsurance assets or liabilities are derecognised when the contractual rights are extinguished or expire or when the contract is transferred to another party.
1.3.2.15 Liquidity adequacy test
At each reporting date the Company assesses whether its recognised insurance liabilities are adequate using current estimates of future cash flows under its insurance contracts. If that assessment shows that the carrying amount of its insurance liabilities (less related deferred policy acquisition costs) is inadequate in the light of estimated future cash flows, the entire deficiency is immediately recognised in statement of insurance operations and an unexpired risk provision is created. The Company does not discount its liability for unpaid claims as substantially all claims are expected to be paid within one year of the reporting date.
1.3.2.16 Expenses
Expenses are recognised when decrease in future economic benefit related to a decrease in an asset or an increase in a liability has arisen that can be measured reliably.
1.3.2.17 Foreign currencies
Transactions in foreign currencies are recorded at the exchange rate ruling at the date of transaction. Monetary assets and liabilities denominated in foreign currencies at the statement of financial position date are retranslated at the rates of exchange ruling at the statement of financial position date. All differences are taken to the statement of shareholders’ comprehensive operations. Foreign exchange gains or loss on available for sale investments are recognised in the statement of shareholders’ comprehensive operations.
1.3.2.18 Statutory reserve
In accordance with its Articles of Association, the Company shall allocate 20% of its net income of each year to a statutory reserve until it has built up a reserve equal to the share capital.
1.3.2.19 Impairment and uncollectibility of financial assets
An assessment is made at each financial reporting date to determine whether there is objective evidence that a specific financial asset or group of financial assets may be impaired. If such evidence exists, the estimated recoverable amount of that asset is determined and any impairment loss, based on the net present value of future anticipated cash flows, is recognised in the statement of shareholders’ comprehensive operations. When a financial asset is uncollectible, it is written off against the related provision for impairment. Financial assets are written off only in circumstances where effectively all possible means of recovery have been exhausted, and the amount of the loss has been determined.
Impairment is determined as follows:
• For assets carried at fair value, impairment is the difference between cost and fair value, less any impairment loss previously recognised in the statement of shareholders’ comprehensive operations.
• For assets carried at cost, impairment is the difference between carrying value and the present value of future cash flows discounted at the current market rate of return for a similar financial asset.
1.3.2.20 Offsetting
Financial assets and financial liabilities are offset and the net amount reported in the statement of financial position only when there is a legally enforceable right to offset the recognised amounts and there is an intention to settle on a net basis, or to realise the assets and settle the liabilities simultaneously. Income and expense are not offset in the statement of insurance or shareholders’ comprehensive operations unless required or permitted by an accounting standard or interpretation, as specifically disclosed in the accounting policies of the Company.
1.3.2.21 Derecognition of financial instruments
The derecognition of a financial instrument takes place when the Company no longer controls the contractual rights that comprise the financial instrument, which is normally the case when the instrument is sold, or all the cash flows attributable to the instrument are passed through to an independent third party.
1.3.2.22 Fair values
The fair value of financial assets that are actively traded in organised financial markets is determined by reference to quoted market bid prices for assets and offer prices for liabilities, at the close of business on the statement of financial position date. If quoted market prices are not available, reference is also be made to broker or dealer price quotations.
For financial assets where there is no active market, fair value is determined by using valuation techniques. Such techniques include using recent arm's length transactions, reference to the current market value of another instrument which is substantially the same and/or discounted cash flow analysis. For discounted cash flow techniques, estimated future cash flows are based on management's best estimates and the discount rate used is a market related rate for similar assets.
1.3.2.23 Segment reporting
An operating segment is a component of the Company that is engaged in business activities from which it earns revenues and incur expenses and about which discrete financial information is available that is evaluated regularly by the chief operating decision maker in deciding how to allocate resources and in assessing performance. Operating segments are reported in a manner consistent with the internal reporting provided to the chief operating decision-maker. The chief operating decision-maker, who is responsible for allocating resources and assessing performance of the operating segments, has been identified as the chief executive officer that makes strategic decisions.
1.3.2.24 Going concern
The Company’s management has made an assessment of the Company’s ability to continue as a going concern and is satisfied that the Company has the resources to continue in business for the foreseeable future. Additionally, the management is not aware of any material uncertainties that, may cast significant doubt on the Company’s ability to continue as a going concern. Therefore, the financial statements continue to be prepared on the going concern basis.
1.3.2.25 Judgments
The preparation of the Company’s financial statements requires management to make judgments, estimates and assumptions that affect the reported amounts of revenues, expenses, assets and liabilities, and the accompanying disclosures, and the disclosure of contingent liabilities, at the end of the reporting period. However, uncertainty about these assumptions and estimates could result in outcomes that require a material adjustment to the carrying amount of the asset or liability affected in future periods.
1.4 Results of operations

2.1 العوامل الرئيسية المؤثرة في نتائج العمليات
301 السياسات المحاسبية الهامة
1-3-1 أسس الإعداد
لقد تم إعداد القوائم المالية على أساس التكلفة التاريخية.
تبعا لما تقتضيه قوانين التأمين بالمملكة العربية السعودية، تحتفظ الشركة بحسابات منفصلة لعمليات التأمين و عمليات المساهمين، كما تحتفظ بالحيازة الفعلية للموجودات المتعلقة بعمليات التأمين و عمليات المساهمين. يتم تسجيل الإيرادات و المصروفات لأي من النشاطين بالحسابات الخاصة بكل منهما. و تتولى الإدارة و مجلسها تحديد أسس توزيع الإيرادات و المصروفات الأخرى من العمليات المشتركة. تبعا للنظام الأساسي للشركة ، يتم توزيع العجز الناتج عن عمليات التأمين بكامله على عمليات حملة الأسهم بينما يتم توزيع أي فائض ناتج عن عمليات التأمين كما يلي :
عمليات المساهمين: 90%
عمليات التأمين: 10%
تم إعداد القوائم المالية للشركة وفقا للمعايير الدولية للتقارير المالية. وبناءً عليه، ليس الغرض من إعداد هذه القوائم المالية أن تتفق مع المعايير المحاسبية المتعارف عليها عموما بالمملكة العربية السعودية ، أي تلك المعايير الصادرة من الهيئة السعودية للمحاسبين القانونيين.
يعتبر الريال السعودي هو العملة الوظيفية المستخدمة بالشركة
1-3-2 السياسات المحاسبية الرئيسية
1-3-2-1 الممتلكات و المعدات
يتم قياس الممتلكات و المعدات بتكلفة مخصوم منها الإهلاك التراكمي أو أي انخفاض في قيمتها. إذ تتضمن التكلفة المصروفات الناتجة مباشرة عن حيازة الموجودات. ويتم تحميل مصروفات الإصلاح و الصيانة على قائمة تحسين عمليات التأمين التي من شانها زيادة القيمة أو التمديد الفعلي لعمر الموجودات، بينما يتم تحميل الإهلاك إلى قائمة عمليات التأمين بأقساط ثابتة موزعة على العمر الافتراضي التقديري للموجودات. وفيما يلي العمر الافتراضي التقديري المستخدم في حساب الإهلاك:

يتم الاعتراف بأي ربح أو خسارة عند التصرف في أي من مفردات الممتلكات و المعدات (محسوبة كفرق بين صافي العائدات الناتجة عن هذا التصرف و القيمة الدفترية لهذه المفردة) ضمن قائمة عمليات التأمين. تتم مراجعة القيم الدفترية للممتلكات و المعدات عند حدوث تغيير في الظرف يؤشر باحتمال عدم قابلية القيمة الدفترية للاسترداد. وعند وجود مثل هذا المؤشر وأينما تجاوزت القيمة الدفترية المبلغ التقديري القابل للاسترداد، يتم بالتالي تخفيض قيمة الموجودات إلى مبالغها القابلة للاسترداد.
1-3-2-2 ذمم دائنة و مستحقات
يتم الاعتراف بالمطالبات بالنسبة للمبالغ التي سيتم صرفها مستقبلا على البضائع و الخدمات المحصلة سواء طالب بها المورد أم لا.
1-3-2-3 المخصصات
يتم الاعتراف بالمخصصات عندما يكون لدى الشركة التزاما (قانوني أو تأسيسي) ناتجا عن حدث في الماضي و أن تكون تكلفة تسوية هذا الالتزام محتملة و يمكن قياسها بثقة. و لا يتم الاعتراف بالمخصصات المتعلقة بالخسائر المستقبلية للتشغيل.
1-3-2-4 عقود الإيجار
يتم الاعتراف بمدفوعات عقود إيجارات التشغيل كمصروفات بقائمة عمليات التأمين و بأقساط ثابتة موزعة على مدة العقد.
1-3-2-5 الزكاة و ضريبة الدخل
يتم تحديد مخصص الزكاة و ضريبة الدخل طبقا للوائح المالية بالمملكة العربية السعودية. وتعتبر الزكاة و ضريبة الدخل متراكمة و يتم تحميلها على قائمة العمليات الشاملة لحملة الأسهم.
1-3-2-6 مكافآت نهاية الخدمة
تعتبر مكافآت نهاية خدمة الموظفين مستحقة حاليا و يتم صرفها دفعة واحدة للموظفين بموجب شروط و قوانين العمل بالسعودية عند انتهاء عقود توظيفهم. يتم حساب هذه المطالبة باعتبارها القيمة الحالية للمزايا المكتسبة التي يحق للموظف الحصول عليها في حالة تركه للخدمة بتاريخ وضع التقرير. يتم صرف مكافآت نهاية الخدمة على أساس آخر المرتبات و العلاوات و السنوات التراكمية للموظفين بالخدمة كما حددها قانون العمل السعودي.
1-3-2-6 النقد و المُعادِلات النقدية
يتكون النقد و ما يعادله - ضمن قائمة التدفق النقدي لحملة الأسهم - من نقدية بالبنوك و إيداعات قصيرة الأجل ، إن وجد، بأجل استحقاق أصلي يبلغ 90 يوما أو أقل من تاريخ الاقتناء .
1-3-2-7 الاعتراف بالإيرادات (الاعتراف بإيرادات الأقساط و العمولات)
يتم قيد الأقساط و العمولات بقائمة "عمليات التأمين" موزعة على آجال وثائق التأمين المرتبطة بها بالتناسب بحيث يتم الاعتراف بالإيرادات على مدار فترة المخاطر. وتمثل الأقساط غير المكتسبة تلك النسبة من الأقساط المكتتبة المتعلقة بفترة تغطية غير منتهية الصلاحية. ويتم قيد التغيير في مخصصات الأقساط الغير مكتسبة بقائمة عمليات التأمين خلال فترة المخاطر.
يتم تسجيل الدخل من الأقساط و العمولات المحتجزة - المتعلقة بفترة المخاطرة السارية لما بعد الفترة المالية للتقرير – باعتبارها غير مكتسبة و مؤجلة بناءً على العدد الفعلي للأيام بالنسبة للخطوط التجارية الأخرى.
تمثل نتائج الاكتتاب الأقساط المكتسبة، والدخل من الأتعاب و العمولات المكتسبة مخصوما منها المطالبات المسددة، و مصروفات الاكتتاب الأخرى، و المطالبات المرتقبة مستحقة السداد خلال الفترة ، و صافي المبالغ المعرضة لإعادة التأمين، مخصوما منها المخصص لآي خسائر مستقبلية مرتقبة من وثائق التأمين المستمرة.
1-3-2-8 الدخل الخاص من العمولة
يعتبر الدخل الخاص من العمولة على الودائع قصيرة الأجل مستحقا على أساس العائد الفعلي
1-3-2-9 عقد التأمين
تُعَرَّف عقود التأمين على أنها عقود تتضمن مخاطر تأمينية كبيرة عند نشوء العقد أو تلك التي تتضمن عند نشوء العقد سيناريو بمضمون تجاري قد يتضمن مستوى ملحوظا من المخاطر. و تعتمد أهمية مخاطر التأمين على احتمال وقوع الحادث المؤمن عليه و حجم تأثيره الممكن.
عندما يتم تصنيف العقد باعتباره "عقد تأمين" فإنه يظل عقدا تأمينيا إلى آخر الفترة المتبقية من عمره حتى في حالة انخفاض المخاطر بدرجة ملحوظة خلال تلك الفترة.
1-3-2-10 المطالبات
تتكون المطالبات من المبالغ المستحقة الدفع لحاملي وثائق التأمين و الأطراف الثالثة و تتعلق بمصروفات تسوية الخسائر ، وصافي القيمة المتبقية (الإنقاذ) و غيرها من أنماط الاسترداد و يتم تحميلها على قائمة عمليات التأمين. و يتكون إجمالي المطالبات الجارية من إجمالي التكلفة التقديرية للمطالبات المتكبدة التي لم يتم تسويتها خلال فترة التقرير، سواء تم الإبلاغ عنها أم لا. ويجري عمل مخصصات المطالبات - التي تم الإبلاغ عنها ولم يتم سدادها في تاريخ التقرير – على أساس تقديري للحالات الفردية. ولا تقوم الشركة بخصم المطالبات الغير مسددة من التزاماتها نظرا لأنه من المتوقع سداد جميع المطالبات الغير مدفوعة خلال سنة من تاريخ التقرير المالي.
1-3-2-11 المطالبات القائمة و الاحتياطيات الأخرى
تتولى الشركة عموما تقدير مطالباتها بناءً على الخبرة السابقة، علاوة على احتفاظ الشركة بمخصصات - مبنية على حكم الإدارة - لتسوية المطالبات " المتكبدة و لم يتم الإبلاغ عنها" و " الاحتياطي الغير مخصص لتسوية مصروفات الخسائر" في تاريخ التقرير. إن أي فرق بين المخصصات بتاريخ الميزانية العمومية و التسويات و مخصصات الفترة التالية يتم إدراجه بحساب الاكتتاب لهذه الفترة. و تستعين الشركة بخدمات خبير إكتواري مستقل لتحديد مثل هذه المطالبات. وتظهر المطالبات القائمة بشكل إجمالي بينما تظهر حصة معيدي التأمين على نحو منفصل.
تعتبر التزامات الشركة الناجمة عن المطالبات المقدمة بموجب عقود التأمين من التقديرات المحاسبية الحرجة للغاية بالشركة. فهناك العديد من مصادر الشك التي يجب مراعاتها عند تقدير الالتزامات التي ستدفعها الشركة لمثل هذه المطالبات. وتعتبر مخصصات المطالبات المتكبدة التي لم يتم الإبلاغ عنها عبارة عن تقدير للمطالبات المتوقع الإبلاغ عنها في فترة لاحقة على نهاية فترة التقرير المالي حيث وقع الحدث المُؤَمَّن عليه قبل نهاية فترة التقرير المالي.
1-3-2-12 التكلفة المؤجلة لاقتناء وثيقة التأمين
تُؤَجَّل العمولات و خلافها من التكاليف المتعلقة مباشرة باقتناء و تجديد عقود التأمين وكذلك تُسْتَهْلَك على مدار آجال عقود التأمين عندما يتم تحصيل الأقساط. و يُقَيَّد الاستهلاك في "قائمة عمليات التأمين".
تُحْتَسَبُ التغيرات في العمر الإنتاجي المتوقع أو في نمط استهلاك المزايا الاقتصادية المستقبلية المتجسدة في الموجودات وذلك بتغيير فترة الاستهلاك و تُعَامل باعتبارها تغيرا في التقدير المحاسبي.
يتم إجراء مراجعة انخفاض القيمة بتاريخ كل تقرير مالي أو أكثر عند ظهور ما يشير إلى هذا الانخفاض. وعندما تقل المبالغ القابلة للاسترداد عن القيمة الدفترية فإنه يتم الاعتراف بخسارة انخفاض القيمة ضمن قائمة "عمليات التأمين". و تُراعَى التكلفة المؤجلة لاقتناء وثيقة التأمين – أيضا- في اختبار كفاية المطلوبات في كل فترة تقرير مالي.
1-3-2-13 إعادة التأمين
تتنازل الشركة عن مخاطر التأمين في المسار الطبيعي لجميع أعمالها التي بموجبها يتم تعويض الشركة عن خسائر عقود التأمين الصادرة. وتمثل موجودات إعادة التأمين أرصدة مستحقة من شركات التأمين. و تُقدَّر المبالغ القابلة للاسترداد بطريقة تتسق مع مخصص المطالبات القائمة و طبقا لعقد إعادة التأمين.
يتم إجراء مراجعة انخفاض القيمة بكل فترة تقرير مالي أو أكثر عند ظهور ما يشير إلى الانخفاض خلال فترة التقرير. و يحدث انخفاض القيمة عند وجود دليل موضوعي على احتمال عدم استرداد الشركة المبالغ الجارية بموجب شروط العقد و عندما يمكن قياس الأثر الواقع على المبالغ التي ستتلقاها الشركة من معيد التأمين بطريقة مضمونه. ويتم قيد خسارة انخفاض القيمة في "قائمة عمليات التأمين".
لا تعفي اتفاقات إعادة التأمين المُتنازَل عنه الشركة من التزاماتها تجاه حاملي وثائق التأمين. و يتم الاعتراف بأقساط و مطالبات إعادة التأمين باعتبارها نوعا من الدخل و المصروفات بنفس الطريقة كما لو تم اعتبار إعادة التأمين نشاطا مباشرا، مع مراعاة تصنيف مُنْتَج النشاط المعاد تأمينه.
تمثل التزامات إعادة التأمين أرصدة مستحقة لشركات إعادة التأمين و يتم تقدير المبالغ مستحقة الدفع بطريقة تتسق مع عقد التأمين المصاحب لها. يتم عرض الأقساط و المطالبات على أساس إجمالي في حالات إعادة التأمين المسندةوكذلك القائمة. و لا يتم الاعتراف بموجودات أو التزامات إعادة التأمين في حالة انطفاء الحقوق التعاقدية أو انتهاء صلاحيتها أو عند نقل العقد إلى طرف آخر.
1-3-2-14 اختبار كفاية السيولة
تتولى الشركة - بكل فترة تقرير- تقييم مدى كفاية مطلوبات التأمين باستخدام التقديرات الحالية للتدفقات النقدية المستقبلية لعقود التأمين. وإذا أظهر التقييم أن القيمة الدفترية لمطلوبات التأمين (ناقص التكاليف المؤجلة لاقتناء وثيقة التأمين ذات الصلة) غير كافية على ضوء تقدير التدفقات النقدية المستقبلية، فإنه يتم إثبات هذا العجز كله في "قائمة عمليات التأمين" و تكوين مخصص مخاطر إضافي. ولا تخصم الشركة المطالبات الغير مسددة من المطلوبات نظرا لأن من المتوقع سداد هذه المطالبات خلال سنة من تاريخ التقرير.
1-3-2-15 المصروفات
يتم الاعتراف بالمصروفات عند حدوث نقص في المزايا الاقتصادية المستقبلية المرتبطة بنقص في الموجودات أو زيادة في المطلوبات، مما يمكن قياسه علي نحو موثوق.
1-3-2-16 العملات الأجنبية
تُسَجَّل الصفقات المبرمة بالعملات الأجنبية بسعر الصرف السائد في تاريخ الصفقة. أما الموجودات و المطلوبات النقدية بالعملات الأجنبية بقائمة المركز المالي فيعاد تحويلها لتعكس سعر الصرف السائد كما في تاريخ قائمة المركز المالي. ويتم ترحيل جميع الفروق إلى قائمة العمليات الشاملة لحاملي الأسهم . أما أرباح أو خسائر النقد الأجنبي من الاستثمارات المتاحة للبيع فيتم إثباتها في قائمة العمليات الشاملة لحاملي الأسهم.
1-3-2-17 الاحتياطي القانوني
بموجب نظام تأسيسها، يجب أن تخصص الشركة 20% من صافي الدخل كل سنة للاحتياطي القانوني إلى أن يمكنها تكوين احتياطي يعادل رأس المال السهمي.
1-3-2-18 الانخفاض و عدم قابلية الموجودات المالية للتحصيل
يتم – بتاريخ كل فترة تقرير- إجراء تقييم لمعرفة ما إذا كان هناك دليل موضوعي على انخفاض قيمة أحد الموجودات المالية أو مجموعة من الموجودات المالية. وفي حالة وجود هذا الدليل، فإنه يجري تحديد المبلغ القابل للاسترداد من هذه الموجودات و كذلك أي خسارة ناتجة عن الانخفاض بناءً على صافي القيمة الحالية للتدفقات النقدية المرتقبة مستقبلا، و إثباتها في " قائمة العمليات الشاملة لحاملي الأسهم". عندما يصير أحد الموجودات المالية غير قابل للتحصيل، فإنه يتم إطفاؤه مقابل مخصص انخفاض القيمة ذي الصلة. و يتم إطفاء الموجودات المالية فقط بعد استنفاذ جميع الوسائل الممكنة للاسترداد و تحديد مقدار الخسارة.
1-3-2-19 يتم تحديد الانخفاض كما يلي:
• بالنسبة للموجودات المدرجة بالقيمة العادلة، يمثل الانخفاض الفرق بين التكلفة و القيمة العادلة ناقصا أي خسارة انخفاض سبق إثباتها في "قائمة العمليات الشاملة لحاملي الأسهم".
• وفي حالة الموجودات المدرجة بقيمة التكلفة، يمثل الانخفاض الفرق بين القيمة الدفترية و القيمة الحالية للتدفقات النقدية المستقبلية مخصومة باستخدام معدل العائد الحالي السائد بالسوق لأصول مالية مشابهة.
1-3-2-20 المقاصة
يتم عمل مقاصة بين الموجودات و المطلوبات وإدراج صافي المبلغ بقائمة المركز المالي فقط في حالة وجود حق قانوني ملزم بتعويض المبالغ المثبتة و كذلك توافر النية للتسوية على أساس الصافي، أو تحقيق الموجودات و تسوية المطلوبات في نفس الوقت. ولا يتم مقاصة الدخل و المصروفات في قائمة التأمين أو قائمة العمليات الشاملة لحاملي الأسهم ما لم يكن ذلك مطلوبا أو مسموحا به بمقتضى أحد المعايير المحاسبية أو التفسيرات، طبقا لما هو مبين تحديدا بالسياسات المحاسبية للشركة.
1-3-2-21 استبعاد الأدوات المالية
يتم استبعاد أحد الأدوات المالية عندما لا يصبح للشركة سيطرة على الحقوق التعاقدية التي تتضمن تلك الأداة المالية ، ويحدث هذا- طبيعيا- في حالة بيع الأداة أو عند تحويل التدفقات النقدية الناتجة عن الأداة إلى طرف ثالث.
1-3-2 22 القيم العادلة
يتم تحديد القيمة العادلة للأصول المالية المتداولة بنشاط في الأسواق المالية بالرجوع إلى أسعار الطلب بالسوق بالنسبة للموجودات و أسعار العرض بالنسبة للمطلوبات وذلك في ختام الأعمال بتاريخ قائمة المركز المالي . وفي حالة عدم توافر أسعار السوق، فإنه يمكن الرجوع إلى أسعار أحد الوسطاء أو التجار.
بالنسبة للموجودات المالية التي لا يتوافر لها سوق نشطة، يتم تحديد القيمة العادلة باستخدام أساليب التقييم التي تتضمن: المقارنة بالمعاملات التجارية الحديثة ، والرجوع إلى القيمة السوقية الحالية لأداة تتشابه جوهريا مع نفس الأداة، و / أو تحليل التدفقات النقدية المخصومة. و بالنسبة لأسلوب التدفقات النقدية المخصومة، فإن التدفقات النقدية المستقبلية المقدرة ترتكز على أفضل تقديرات الإدارة ومعدل الخصم المستخدم بالسوق لموجودات مماثلة.
1-3-2- 23 التقرير القطاعي
قطاع التشغيل هو أحد مكونات الشركة التي تعمل في الأنشطة التجارية التي ينتج عنها اكتساب الإيرادات و تكبد المصروفات و التي يتم تقييم المعلومات المالية بشأنها بانتظام بمعرفة متخذ قرار التشغيل الرئيسي لتحديد كيفية تخصيص الموارد و تقييم الأداء.. يتم عمل التقارير عن قطاعات التشغيل بطريقة تتسق مع التقارير الداخلية التي يتم عرضها على متخذ قرار التشغيل الرئيسي. و يتم تعريف متخذ قرار التشغيل الرئيسي – الذي يتولى تخصيص الموارد و تقييم الأداء- باعتباره المسئول التنفيذي الذي يتخذ القرارات الإستراتيجية.
1-3-2-23 استمرارية الشركة
قامت إدارة الشركة بعمل تقييم لمدى مقدرتها على الاستمرار كمنشأة مستدامة وأصبح لديها قناعة بأن الشركة يتوافر لها الموارد التي تمكنها من مواصلة الأعمال على المدى المنظور. . علاوة على أن الإدارة ليس لديها علم بأية شكوك مادية قد تلقي ظلالا من الشك على قدرة الشركة على الاستمرار. وعليه، تواصل الشركة إعداد البيانات المالية على أساس الاستمرارية.
1-3-2-24 الأحكام
يتطلب إعداد البيانات المالية للشركة من الإدارة وضع أحكام وتقديرات وافتراضات تؤثر على: مبالغ الإيرادات والمصروفات والموجودات والمطلوبات و بيانات الإفصاح المرفقة وكذلك الإفصاح عن المطلوبات الطارئة في نهاية الفترة التي يغطيها التقرير. ومع ذلك، قد تؤدي الشكوك حول هذه الافتراضات والتقديرات إلى نتائج تحتاج إلى تعديلات جوهرية على القيمة الدفترية للموجودات أو المطلوبات في فترات مستقبلية.

My name is Ahmed Shawky. I am a professional freelance translator (English > Arabic; Arabic >English) with more than 14 years of experience in Translation & MTPE in general, and 5 years of extensive experience in Media Localization, Subtitling, and QC. I am a native Arabic speaker from Fayoum, Egypt with a Bachelor's Degree in English Literature, plusa postgraduate Diploma in English < > Arabic Translation from Cairo University. Furthermore, I speak English fluently (IELTS 7.5). Lately, I specialized in subtitling, QC, and Media localization. I have been working for big names in the Media localization industry, I have translated and subtitled movies and series for DISNEY, Netflix, and other clients such as WB, SBS, VICE Media, and Sony Pictures. Plus, I work with other media localization companies, agencies, and LSPs. I have great experience using Memsource as my main CAT tool, regarding the subtitling tools, I use Aegisub Advanced Subtitle Editor, Subtitle Edit, GTS Pro (SDI Media), MediaNext (TransPerfect), Ooona, Plint tool, Sfera, and Subtitle Workshop. Besides, I am fluent in MS Office, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Google Docs, and PDF Adobe Acrobat with tremendous internet searching skills.
