✍🏻 About me

I'm Emanuele Vacca, a detail-oriented English-to-Italian translator, here to assist you with all your financial and legal texts.

When it comes to specialised translations, language proficiency is just the tip of the iceberg. 

Knowledge of the subject matter is what really counts, so I made a point of studying my specialist fields in as much depth as possible.

Key stats (as of 31/12/2024): ~1,400,000 translated words; ~1000 translation projects; 35 happy clients.


🎓 Strong foundations 

Having completed my Master's degree in specialised translation, I went on to study a Postgrad Certificate in Financial Law at SOAS, and get in-house translation experience at a brokerage firm in London.

On top of working alongside financial specialists, I also gained the Securities Industry Essentials certificate from FINRA, the US regulatory authority for financial brokers, meaning I'm now just one qualification away from being able to work in finance in the USA.

And my education is far from over! I'm a strong believer in the importance of constant CPD to keep my translations impeccable. 

Freelancing since 2020, and building my own corpus and glossaries since day one, my clients know they can rely on me for translations that respect all the nuances of their crucial documents.
