Born in Lucerne, Switzerland to a bilingual family, I grew up speaking Swiss and Dutch at home. Growing up in the German part of Switzerland, I've been taught German from about 4 years old onwards and it has, therefore, become an additional native language for me.
In 2014 I moved to Sydney, Australia to do my Bachelor in Music. After 3 years of studying in Australia, I decided to move to London and do my Masters in Music Theatre at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. For my Dissertation, I translated the musical "The Sound of Music" from English into German. Ever since exploring the work as a translator during my dissertation, I've been working as a translator for stage mainly. In the recent year, I've translated shows like "High School Musical on Stage", "Cinderella" and "Madagascar".
Recently I've been translating a variety of documents for Universal Language Solutions. Even though my expertise lays within the creative field, I feel confident to translate documents about all kinds of subjects from English to German.
