Bio

I was born in Japan and am a native speaker of Japanese. After my family moved to Toronto, Canada, I became fluent in English. I studied design informatics at Musashino Art University in Tokyo, where I gained a broad knowledge of informatics. I interned at a translation agency for five years, working on marketing, industrial, engineering, tourism, and general projects.

After marrying a U.S. citizen, I immigrated to the U.S., and now we reside in Pennsylvania. Since then, I have been working as a freelance translator, handling numerous IT, e-commerce, marketing, and entertainment (including gaming and casino) projects. I am comfortable collaborating with other translators and working with machine translation.

In July 2024, I became an ATA-certified translator from English to Japanese after passing their rigorous testing.
