Bio
My professional background is in higher education. I'm a tenured professor who has taught Spanish grammar, phonetics, and translation courses for over 20 years. My primary emphasis is in Spanish peninsular and Spanish-American literature; these are the areas that I am passionate about and for which I have published a scholarly book, articles, and reviews in academic journals in English. The translation work that I most enjoy is literary and academic translation, including reader reports, book reviews, short stories, literary essays, and scholarly texts.
