English to Korean: 제거 반응 General field: Science Detailed field: Chemistry; Chem Sci/Eng
Source text - English An elimination reaction is a type of organic reaction in which two substituents are removed from a molecule in either a one or two-step mechanism. The one-step mechanism is known as the E2 reaction, and the two-step mechanism is known as the E1 reaction. The numbers refer not to the number of steps in the mechanism, but rather to the kinetics of the reaction: E2 is bimolecular (second-order) while E1 is unimolecular (first-order).

Bio
I am currently majoring in chemistry at my university and is interested in, and somewhat skilled in other scientific topics, including physics, psychology, pharmacy including pharmaceutics, and computer science. I am a new translator, but I have participated in some translation teams for games, and have worked with the US Army as a KATUSA for almost 2 years, translating documents back and forth between the US Army and the ROK Army.
My field of expertise is chemistry in general, video games/tabletop games, and military subjects.
