Bio

I have been doing professional English-Spanish and Spanish-English translations, editing and proofreading since 1994, throughout all my career, as part of my different roles. I have translated, edited and proofread business management books, and legal documents mainly, as well as accounting, financial and business reports.

 

I also have experience translating, editing and proofreading documents on the following fields: corporate governance (ESG), internal audit and compliance, as well as religion, sociology and psychology more recently. I have also translated documents in cases before regulators and tribunals.

 

In relation to transcriptions, my experience relates to transcribing meetings either in English or Spanish. More recently, I have started to transcribe videos in both languages too.

 

My background is in business, finance, accounting, corporate governance and compliance. With over 10 years of experience in finance  and audit departments.

 

I have been working in insolvencies, bankruptcies, international businesses, corporate mergers and acquisitions. These projects involved translating documents of varied complexity English to Spanish and vice versa.
