We are a married couple of experienced translators—one Italian and one Japanese native speaker respectively—specializing in Italian and Japanese, a bi-cultural duo with two different native languages coming from diverse academic backgrounds and versed in the needs of the international business environment.
Working side by side, one of our strengths is the active linguistic collaboration that allows us to draw on the linguistic and specialist knowledge of the partner and, ultimately, always understand perfectly any type of source text.
We have been working as professional translators since 1996, initially in Milan, Italy, then in Japan (now in Yugawara, Kanagawa Prefecture) where we reside since 1997 after founding Aliseo Japan.
We became translators after more than twenty years in various high-technology industries, where we acquired a diversified experience which is still a key asset in our current job as freelance translators. For more information about us please click here.
Since over twenty years we have been translating subjects ranging over various domains—including specialized ones. This is a non-up-to-date list of our main working fields:
Regardless of the language pair, our translations are always written in a natural, flowing and stylistically smart way and are suited to their target audiences.
Notes on our linguistic services:
We do not edit/revise machine-translated documents.
We do not translate librettos, song lyrics, poetry, manga, religious texts, or highly specialized texts in the fields of chemistry, biology, or medicine.
