Hello all!

My
name is Xaiana and I've been working with translation for
over 5 years now.

I
fell in love with languages the minute I started studying them, first English, then German. However, it took me a while to realize I was meant to work with them.

I
started my work in the area through my degree in Film Studies. Combined with my
fluency in English and Spanish, I started subtitling movies and got a taste for it.
Subsequently, I started offering services on a wide variety of freelance
platforms, making it possible, not to say imperative, to diversify my skills as well as my repertoire. I then started working with transcription (in the medical, commercial, and automotive
fields), literary translation (translating novels and diaries), always
receiving outstanding feedback.

After
months of freelance work, I ended up signing a contract with Roxo
Translations
, a translation company based in the US, where I offered not
only translation services, but also the layout design of official documents for
the US Immigration Department.

I
have a bachelor's degree in Cinema and my training in the field of
communication has given me a broad and diverse lexicon in my native language,
which I extend to the foreign languages I've learned - precisely so that
communication is not a barrier, but a bridge to comprehending the world a bit
better.

At
this time of expanding my network of contacts, I'm looking forward to hearing
from you!

Cheers!
