Bio

I have over 25 years’ experience in academic translation (Brazilian
Portuguese into English) and proofreading/language editing of academic texts
written in English.

I enjoy the detailed work of making a research paper not only
compliant with publication guidelines but also stylistically appropriate. The
papers I proofread/edit and translate are accepted without further language
editing by top international journals. 


I have a doctorate in applied
linguistics from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2024), a master's in
language studies from PUC-Rio (2006), and a bachelor's degree in music from the
University of Manchester (1988).
