Bio
I do what I love because its easy for me to do it!

Most of my school reports include the same comment "very talented but too chatty", it was a bit negative back then but it goes to show that communication has always been my main interest, I enjoy communicating with others because I always learn something new.

I'm a perfectionist (unfortunately for some) and always striving to get it "just right", and furthermore it would seem I've been blessed with a strange sixth sense for detecting spelling mistakes too, however I do firmly believe that if something is worth doing it's worth doing right, otherwise why waste time?, it takes about as much time to do it right, and definitely longer to re-do it.

As for detailing my translation experience, over 24 years is not easy to summarize. I currently hold an in-house position in which I've been fed all sorts of subjects (and refused some too), which I don't mind, I'll research it and grab a few experts to help me get it "just right" and thoroughly enjoy the learning process. Obviously I'm a bit faster on subjects I translate on a regular basis. (I'm in HSE right now, and really enjoying it.....anyone need PPE?)

I'm convinced that medical and legal translations require their corresponding university degrees and experience in order to do a good job, so I don't even try as I am neither a doctor or a lawyer, I work in Shipbuilding, so there's loads to choose from there - it's never boring!

Oh, and I just love Wine - the industry as a whole - it's one of my personal hobbies and I live in one of the right countries for it too.
