I’m a certified freelance Translator/Proof-reader/Interpreter, and my mother tongues are at the same time Italian and French because even if I was born in Italy my mother is French while my father is Italian. Furthermore I lived my childhood in France where I did all my primary schools and then I returned in Italy to continue my studies until the Bachelor Degree as Translator and Interpreter (EN/FR/IT).
So my first foreign language is English that I speak and write very fluently. My language combinations are the followings:
My Career of Translator and Interpreter began in 2002, when I get my Diploma of French/English Translator and Interpreter. Even if was born in Italy, as I told below, my mother tongues are at the same time, Italian and French, and that because I lived for seven years in France (besides my mother is French while my father is Italian), where I did my elementary and middle High Schools. Indeed, my really first experience in translating, took place when I was still a student in 2000. In fact, considering my very good results during my Master, the College where I studied, called me for an important work of translating and interpreting that took place in Palermo (Italy) in the occasion of an International fair that involved more than three hundred holdings.
In short time, my career of Translator and Interpreter upgrade, so that from the year 2001 I'm a sworn Translator and Interpreter of the Court of Law of the town where I live. Then in 2003 I won a post-doctoral fellowship and I went in France, where I was charged to translate, for a computer holding, a website from French to Italian. At the end of this work, I stayed in France to go working for one month, for a Translation Agency, and I worked in team as technical translator to translate Instruction Manuals of machines and tools. Actually I work as well as freelance Translator and Interpreter (Italian/French/English) but also for several Translation Agencies.
