Upon receiving your AMD Telemedicine Cart:
Failure to follow instructions below may void the WARRANTY agreement.
• DO NOT throw away any of the packaging material until the power system, cart, and any accessories are inspected and operational.
• PLUG THE AC LINE CORD into a wall outlet to both activate and charge
the power system.
Sealed Lead Acid (SLA) must be charged for 4-5 hours
This charge will insure that your system is fully charged and maximize
battery life and initial run times.
USING AMD POWER SYSTEM:
• Plug the YELLOW battery cable into the Power Module
• SWITCH THE POWER SYSTEM to the ON position to activate the AC receptacles
for output power.
• PLUG the power system in to Recharge whenever possible.
It is best to recharge your power system before it reaches a fully discharged state.
You will get more life from your power system if fully recharged prior to allowing the
batteries to fully discharge.
Note: Equipment can be connected and utilized while power system is recharging.
Inactive / Storing AMD Telemedicine Cart:
Failure to follow instructions below may void the WARRANTY agreement.
• Whenever the power system/cart are not in use, plug the supply into a wall outlet. Leaving the AMD Power
System plugged into the wall outlet is perfectly safe and recommended.
• If the Power System/Cart will be inactive/stored for extended periods of time
(anything over 1-2 weeks) and will not be continuously plugged into a wall outlet please follow these steps:
a) Plug the YELLOW battery cable into Power Module.
b) Plug the AC line cord into a wall outlet and fully charge power system.
c) Unplug the YELLOW battery cable from power module
Note: After fulfilling a, b, c, above a periodic recharge is still necessary.
AMD recommends a full recharge every 2 months to fully preserve battery integrity.
Always Store the AMD Telemedicine Cart in a Cool, Dry Place.

Cuando reciba su Equipo Móvil de Telemedicina AMD:
Si no cumple con las siguientes instrucciones, puede anularse el contrato de GARANTÍA.
• NO deseche ninguno de los materiales de empaque hasta que el sistema eléctrico, el equipo móvil y todos los accesorios sean inspeccionados y estén operativos.
• ENCHUFE EL CABLE DE CA a un tomacorriente para activar y cargar el sistema de alimentación.
La batería sellada de ácido de plomo (SLA, por sus siglas en inglés) debe cargarse durante 4-5 horas.
Esta carga asegurará que su sistema esté completamente cargado y maximiza la duración de la batería y los tiempos iniciales de funcionamiento.
USANDO EL SISTEMA ELÉCTRICO AMD:
• Conecte el cable AMARILLO de la batería al Módulo de Potencia.
• COLOQUE EL INTERRUPTOR DEL SISTEMA DE ALIMENTACIÓN a la posición “ON” para activar los receptáculos de CA de salida de energía.
• Siempre que sea posible, ENCHUFE el sistema de alimentación para recargar la batería.
Es mejor recargar su sistema de energía antes de que éste se descargue completamente.
Usted obtendrá mayor larga vida de su sistema de energía si recarga completamente las baterías antes de permitir que estas se descarguen totalmente.
Nota: El equipo puede estar conectado y ser utilizado mientras el sistema eléctrico está recargándose.
Equipo Móvil de Telemedicina AMD inactivo / en almacenamiento:
El incumplimiento de las siguientes instrucciones puede anular el contrato de GARANTÍA.
• Cuando el sistema de energía/equipo móvil no está en uso, enchúfelo a un tomacorriente de pared. Dejar enchufado el sistema de energía AMD en un tomacorriente de pared es totalmente seguro y recomendado.
• Si el sistema de energía/ equipo móvil estará inactivo/almacenado por largos períodos de tiempo
(algo más de 1-2 semanas) y no va a estar continuamente conectado a un tomacorriente de pared, por favor siga estos pasos:
a) Conecte el cable AMARILLO de la batería al módulo de potencia.
b) Enchufe el cable de CA en un tomacorriente de pared y cargue completamente el sistema de alimentación.
c) Desenchufe el cable AMARILLO del módulo de potencia.
Nota: Tras cumplir con los pasos a, b, c, continuará siendo necesaria una recarga periódica.
AMD recomienda una recarga completa cada 2 meses para preservar totalmente la integridad de la batería.
Guarde siempre el Equipo Móvil de Telemedicina AMD en un lugar fresco y seco.
