I obtained MS degree in Education (Linguistics) in the US - I combined the linguistics course with Wharton MBA classes. I was the financial analyst for 10 years. My area of specialization is industrials (food and electronics). I also have done many translations on daily NYSE market news and Wall Street Journal/NYTimes/Barrons articles. I also interpreted many corporate meetings.
Animal care/veterinary medicines/entertainmment are my favorite areas. I translated the whole animal care book/video, and contributed an article to the Japanese veterinary journal. I also translated articles for some artists' official websites. It was fun!
I have been working at a NY university, not as a teacher but as an administrator of its ESL school. Also I do Japanese business seminars.
