Translation - English THE ETERNAL LIFE OF WORDS
Words have no beginning and no end. They are our Spirit and spirituality, our thoughts and letters, books and literature. The old Bulgarian writer and cleric Konstantin Preslavski knew that "every living soul that uses no letters cannot see God's law or the literary and spiritual life."
Man with his ability of thinking and insight, compassion and sacrifice has proven that he possesses a spirit that can be a witness to his experience, if capable of recording it. What is man without this ability? Will his soul perish together with his mortal body, being deprived of the chance to leave a sign that he has existed on this earth, that he has taken part in "misery and endurance", suffering and enlightenment, the explanation and insight into our existence? Letters are signs of our spirit; the signs are an expression of our spiritual life. Every man is worthy of making his anguishes and yearnings known to his fellows; and that would be his tribute to the explanation and enlightenment...
Those who are deprived of the divine gift to express and record their feelings are doomed to extinction. Moreover, they seem to have vanished even before sinking into the darkness of ultimate extinction because "all nations, who have no writing, are naked for they cannot fight the enemies of our spirit without a weapon." Words are a weapon, but a peculiar, magical, life-giving, spiritual weapon. If we recall the ancient root of the word "weapon", we will see that it is related to the word "horn" (in Bulgarian). But this horn would not pierce or stab at man; it is designed to elevate man. Words are the horn of plenty, a cornucopia of spiritual abundance. This horn pours out spiritual wealth; brings out the treasures of a soul into the world, so that everybody can use them, learn from them and rejoice in them...

Liver transplantation is a routine method of treating a number of diseases at their terminal stage. By 2003 more than 65000 liver transplantations had been performed in the world and more than 30000 of them - in Europe. One-year survival has been achieved in 85% of the transplant patients and five-year survival - in 65%.
However, as a consequence of the good results and the extended indications for organ liver transplantation, the deficit of donor organs available is growing in regard to the actual demand. The limited availability of organs for transplantation has led to the increase of the number of patients waiting for this therapy which is life-saving in many cases. In many countries of the world liver transplantation is not affordable mainly because of economic reasons. These facts bring about the necessity of developing new directions in the liver deficiency therapy.
Liver cells transplantation could be considered a supplement to liver organ transplantation. The hepatocyte, being the smallest functional unit, can be transplanted in the liver or another place in the abdominal cavity to compensate for chronic or acute liver failure. Under certain conditions hepatocyte transplantation has more advantages compared to orthotopic liver transplantation.
English to Bulgarian: CLEVELAND BAY
Source text - English THE HISTORY OF THE CLEVELAND BAY As its name suggests, the Cleveland Bay emanates from the Cleveland area of North East England. Without doubt it is Britain?s oldest breed of horse. The church played a very large role in their breeding. Throughout the middle ages the Monastic houses in the North East were the principal breeders of horses. Packhorses were needed for the trading of goods between the various Abbeys and Monasteries. Most certainly the ancestors of today?s Cleveland Bays, particularly on the female side, were such packhorses bred in the Yorkshire Dales. Locally they were known as Chapman horses, the name being derived from the name given to packmen and itinerant peddlers of those days i.e. "Chapmen". There was an influx of barb horses into the port of Whitby. These were used on Chapman mares. Before the end of the 17th Century the main ingredient of the Cleveland Bay, the Chapman, and the Barb had come together to mould the type of powerful horse whose popularity as a pack/harness horse was beginning to spread beyond the North East. The next century saw an increase in weight and size of these horses - better feeding being one of the reasons. The result was a quality versatile horse, which found many uses away from the Monasteries as agricultural horses drawing carts and wagons of various types. A demand for faster carriage horses resulted in some breeders crossing their Cleveland?s with strong Thoroughbreds. Their offspring were known as the Yorkshire Coach Horse a tall elegant carriage horse, much in demand by the rich and royal. The late 18th Century was the golden age of carriage driving. Yorkshire Coach Horses were exported all over the world to provide matched pairs and teams.
During the height of the London season, hundreds of pairs of Yorkshire Coach Horses could be seen in Hyde Park every afternoon. To this day one may still detect the two types of Cleveland - the smaller, resembling the Chapman, and the taller resembling the Yorkshire Coach Horses. Both nevertheless retain the bone and substance of their ancestors. The coming of the motorcar and tractor put an end to the need for Cleveland Bays. They went into decline. Many were sold abroad. A few dedicated breeders in the North East kept the breed alive.
(Cleveland Bay)
English to Bulgarian: Original Half-halt Автентична полуодръжка Detailed field: Sports / Fitness / Recreation
Source text - English Reins-in-hands, without ceasing contact with the mouth, and without any displacement of the rider's hands "toward his body" at all, yet -- with closed wrists (both thumb-nails facing either up or inward, toward each-other), the rider's two hands (simultaneously and in direct parallel) move in an upward-rainbow directional shape, and immediately thereafter, logically and calmly descend backward and downward (to their original starting position) -- thus causing the horse's entire neck-crest anatomical complex to elevate (i.e., "lift up" or "rise"), which weight-shifting event inadvertently results in an overall significant transfer of body-weight off the horse's forehand, and onto his haunches (backward-and-under), which, in turn, facilitates the engagement of the horse's rear-motor muscular complexes (observed as "the sinking-down of the croupe" and "the horse's rear limbs reaching much more profoundly under, frequently even beyond his center-of-gravity's vertical axis"). This overall weight-shift kinetic event, effectively, changes the entire equilibrium state of the horse's body in motion.
The required strength of application of the Half-halt is a direct function of the weight resistance encountered by the rider's hands in the horse's physiology. Depending on the degree of response one receives from the horse, either single or multiple (repeated) applications of the Half-halt action can be required, as the specific correction case at hand may dictate -- until one has obtained the desired degree of corrective success.
