Let me introduce myself... my name is Adriana Paez, I was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. I am a Brazilian-American who came to the U.S. in 1998. I am a proud mother of two happy boys, and married to a wonderful man. And because I want to spend more and more time with my family I dedicate my heart to my translation & transcription freelance business.
In Brazil, as well as in the U.S., I've always worked as an executive assistant, a career where, needless to say, language knowledge is a must. Well, I still go to the office, but I am constantly accessible to my translation clients (email, phone, etc.), and since I arrive home early I have several hours of my day for translation projects -- I am a hard worker!
I had my education in Brazil, where I went to University and graduated in linguistics & administration. Growing up, I took several years of English course, and at the age of 20 I finished my TTC (Teachers Training Course). Ever since then I've been constantly studying & updating my skills.
I can type 80+ words per minute, with great accuracy. I use the latest softwares, cable internet, etc.
I love what I do, and I take pride of always trying to achieve perfection. I understand that much of our work is time-sensitive and I do my best to meet all deadlines.
Look forward to hearing from you soon,
Adriana :)
