Hi all,

i get this message when trying to save an .xlf file in SDL Trados 2009:

"Value cannot be null. Parameter name: collection"

I found the solution to this problem for Adobe Framemaker, but this is a different file format.

Can anyone help?

Thanks

Can I see the file? Dec 13, 2013

Hi Alice,

Can yo send me the original XLF file and also the fully translated SDLXLIFF, and I’ll see if I can save the target and let you know what the issue was.

Regards

Paul

Just asked the client Dec 13, 2013

Hi there,

just asked the client. However they have SDL Trados 2011 SP2 and they tried with 2009 and got same issue as me, so it must be a compatibility issue.

For the time being we have resolved by making me reimport an ITD into Trados 2009, even though the analysis is different and it looks like i have 3000 words more in the fuzzies -.-

Will send you the file as soon as i get it, but it looks like i have to update to 2014 as soon as i can.
