Why was my email to the sales team at Kilgray (for MemoQ) deleted?

Yesterday, I first sent a support request to Kilgray (MemoQ) regarding development of a feature for my MemoQ Translator Pro. I received a reply that I should turn to their sales team with my enquiries instead, which I did, also yesterday.

Then today Monday, I received an automatic notification a while ago that my email to Kilgray's sales team has been deleted without being read!

Yesterday, I first sent a support request to Kilgray (MemoQ) regarding development of a feature for my MemoQ Translator Pro. I received a reply that I should turn to their sales team with my enquiries instead, which I did, also yesterday.

Then today Monday, I received an automatic notification a while ago that my email to Kilgray's sales team has been deleted without being read!

I have sent a new support request to Kilgray, asking the reason that my email to their sales team has been deleted.

Has anyone else experienced this? What could be the reason?

I don't know what's going on with them. I didn't encounter the same issue you just had, but just recently, I had A LOT of trouble getting information about memoQ's perpetual license, which is still kind of advertised on their website ('memoQ translator pro is available as a perpetual license. To purchase, please contact us'), but apparently isn't available anymore. As for your situation... the sales team can be very slow with their replies, but what you experienced is very surprising. I sent a new message to Kilgray support (another department than the sales team), asking why their sales team deleted my email without even having read it first. This time, Kilgray support are slow with their reply, has never happened before. Normally, they are very swift with their replies at Kilgray support. Seems like they are investigating what have happened.

While it does seem anecdotally that Kilgray's support is no longer what it once was, perhaps what happened is that your email was redirected to a spam folder and someone just emptied/deleted the spam folder contents without really examining the subject lines closely.
