In France I have worked at management level in the finance department of companies that belonged to British groups (ILG Travel Ltd) or American groups (Dell Computer). As I was in charge of the reporting I was frequently communicating with colleagues who did not speak French. In both these jobs, I reported to a superior who did not speak French, and I therefore had to translate everything for the people working for me. In this way I have developed a strong knowledge of business English language.

I have been living in England for 16 years. I have taught French in a primary school as voluntary work and have also given French private lessons to adults.

Though I live in England, I return to France often (at least 4 times a year), listen to French radio every day and read French papers. So I am not only bilingual but I am also bicultural, which allows me to translate every shade of meaning of a text.
