I have strong translation experience working freelance as a writer, language consultant, translator and proofreader for clients in Norway and around the world, as well as editor and proofreader for a monthly printed publication. My work covers a number of different areas including lingustics, religion, education, literature, website translation, news, tourism, IT and fashion. In addition I have taught Arabic and Norwegian as foreign languages.
I possess excellent academic qualifications, holding a BA in Arabic at the University of Bergen, Norway, and an undergraduate diploma in Scandinavian studies. I have also studied Linguistics, Psychology, Science of Religion and Design&Dressmaking.
I am also qualified for work as an interpreter in the Norwegian Health Care system, in the language pair Arabic-Norwegian / Norwegian-Arabic.
