Description Es una asociación civil, sin fines de lucro, fundada por un grupo de Traductores Públicos graduados en la Facultad de Humanidades y Ciencias de la Educación de la Universidad Nacional de La Plata, con el objeto de promover, difundir y proteger la profesión del Traductor Público y la traducción en todas sus ramas: técnica, científica, literaria.


Este Círculo desea dar a conocer a la comunidad el alcance de la profesión del Traductor, la formación académica y la ética de sus profesionales, su vinculación con instituciones nacionales e internacionales, provinciales y municipales, destacando especialmente la relación con la Suprema Corte de Justicia de la Provincia de Buenos Aires, que tiene a su cargo el gobierno de la matrícula y con el Ministerio de Gobierno de la Provincia de Buenos Aires, que tiene a su cargo la certificación y legalización de las firmas.


Actualmente la entidad se encuentra trabajando junto a los demás Círculos de la Provincia de Buenos Aires para impulsar la sanción definitiva de la Ley de Colegiación
