Professional Experience:

Supporting the luxury sector with their English-language communications. Recent projects include:

▪ Principal proofreader for a series of authorised books on the history of an internationally renowned Swiss watch brand (three titles to date), ensuring that the technical descriptions are correct and the style guide is followed.

▪ Designated translator of all communications for the luxury watch section of a major French fashion brand. My texts then serve as the basis for their global copy and are translated into multiple languages.

▪ Technical translations for major Swiss watch brands, describing the inner workings of the timepieces and how they are made.

▪ Localisation from US English for the UK market.

▪ Since 2011, part of the team providing regular translating, proofreading and subtitling services for a prestigious Swiss watch brand.

▪ Translation of press releases for a major international auction house, including descriptions of artworks, jewellery and objets d’art.

▪ Subtitling in Caption Hub for a major Swiss watch brand’s annual conference.
