I have gained a thorough understanding of video and computer games by playing them myself. I started playing games back in 90-s. My preferred genres are turn-based strategies, city construction, sci-fi, fantasy, ancient, medieval, and WWII simulations. In July 2017, I became a winner and received an honorable mention of the LocJAM 4 game translation contest in the English to Russian pair.

I translate in-game strings, VO scripts and dialogues, UI, manuals, metadata, and marketing collateral in virtually all genres.

FINMARKETS

Since 2007 I have taken an interest in international finance and capital markets. I have gathered hands-on experience in this area translating daily Forex newsletters and weekly market outlooks, as well as localizing websites and a trading platform.

Besides that, two courses in financial markets — from Yale University and the Higher School of Economics — gave me some valuable information on the subject.

I can handle Forex technical and fundamental reports, macroeconomic analysis, market commentaries, economic reports, fund performance reviews, investment strategies, etc.
