Source text - German Tim befindet sich momentan in einer Entwicklungsstufe, an die ich mich später sicher am liebsten erinnere - weil sie vorbei ist. Nennen wir sie die "Pupsi-Phase“, die Bestandteil des sich hinziehenden Prozesses des Spracherwerbs eines jeden Kinds zu sein scheint. Jeder Berliner Rapper ist gegen meinen Sohn ein Schöngeist.
Morgens, wenn Tim über meine Beine zu mir ins Bett trampelt, ruft er freudig: „Halloooo Pupsbacke.“ Ich bin aber keine Pupsbacke, sondern ein Vater. Und das sage ich ihm auch. Unnötig zu erwähnen, dass er auch für seine Mutter eine ganz besondere Wortschöpfung parat hat... Die meisten seiner Wortschöpfungen gründeln in Körperöffnungen und Ausscheidungsvorgängen. Das ist nicht schön.
Warum kann er nicht Kosenamen erfinden, die man gerne hört? Warum bin ich nicht einfach „Blumenpapa“? Das sei normal, sagte die Kindergärtnerin, als ich sie darauf ansprach. Ist mir egal, also beschloss ich dem Verhalten meines Sohnes mutig entgegenzutreten und notfalls Strafen für Schimpfwörter zu verhängen.
Leider fehlt es mir dafür jedoch an Autorität. Im Bestrafen bin ich nicht besonders gut. Abgesehen davon hat mir mal eine Psychologin erklärt, dass kleine Kinder mit Strafen überhaupt nichts anfangen können. Es bringt nichts, und das Einhalten von Sanktionen ist für Eltern schwieriger als für Kinder, besonders wenn es um Fernsehverbote geht. Möchte man die zum Beispiel am Sonntagmorgen um acht einhalten? Nein? Na bitte. Ich nahm mir also vor, mit Augenmaß vorzugehen.

Además, en una ocasión, una psicóloga me explicó que no tiene sentido castigar a los niños pequeños porque no lo entienden. Source text - French La Commission européenne a décidé de participer activement au développement de la Communauté autonome d’Aragon en cofinançant le programme de l’Objectif 2 durant la période 2000-2006. La participation des Fonds structurels s’élève à 306,3 millions d’euros sur un budget global de 629,3 millions d’euros.
Le programme s’articule autour de 5 axes prioritaires et de mesures d’assistance technique.
Priorité 1: Amélioration de la compétitivité et de l’emploi et développement du tissu productif
Les entreprises, et principalement les PME, recevront des aides à l’investissement afin d’améliorer leur compétitivité et la qualité de leurs produits. Une action spécifique sera lancée dans le secteur minier non énergétique, qui favorisera la découverte de nouvelles ressources, l’accroissement de la valeur ajoutée de l’extraction et le renforcement de la sécurité des travailleurs. Les entreprises de la région bénéficieront, d’autre part, d’aides collectives au démarrage pour leurs activités d’exportation. Enfin, le recours à la consultance en matière technologique sera encouragée de manière à améliorer les capacités d’organisation des entreprises dans ce domaine.
Priorité 2: Environnement, milieu naturel et ressources hydriques
Cette priorité regroupe trois types d’action. Le premier vise la création ou l’amélioration des infrastructures liées au cycle de l’eau, que ce soit dans le domaine de l’approvisionnement ou de l’assainissement. Le deuxième s’attache à la protection et la restauration du milieu naturel en dehors des zones urbaines, avec, notamment, des actions comme la réhabilitation des rives et la canalisation des cours d’eau. Enfin, le troisième concerne la protection et la valorisation des zones naturelles protégées.

La segunda se refiere a la protección y a la recuperación del entorno natural situado fuera de las zonas urbanas, preveyéndose, entre otras cosas, la rehabilitación de las riberas y la canalización de los cursos de agua. Y, por último, la tercera consiste en la protección y la valorización de las áreas naturales protegidas.

Source text - German Der 1931 in den Straßen von Groß-Berlin gedrehte Schwarz-Weiß-Film ist die erste Verfilmung eines Kästner-Romans für Kinder und zugleich ein hervorragendes Zeitdokument. Gerade heute, wo Berlin wieder die Aufmerksamkeit auf sich zieht, hat der Film besondere Aktualität, zeigt er doch das pulsierende Leben in einer europäischen Metropole, wie es Berlin in jener Zeit war. Auch wenn im Laufe der Jahrzehnte immer wieder Erwachsene in Auseinandersetzungen über den pädagogi¬schen Gehalt von "Emil und die Detektive" geraten sind - das ging so weit, dass der Filminhalt als Jagd einer Bande aus Muttersöhnchen und Musterknaben auf einen Außenseiter interpretiert wurde, während seriöse Filmkritiker die demokratische Gesinnung lobten - die Kinder waren und sind sich seit 75 Jahren einig: Aus einem spannenden Buch wurde ein spannender Film und die Reaktionen reichen von "wundervoll", "herrlich" bis "geil" und "super". Und deshalb ist "Emil und die Detektive" ein Hit im (Kinder-)Kino.
Erich Kästner (1899-1974), Humanist und Schriftsteller, ergriff immer wieder Partei für die Kinder in seinen Romanen. "Nur wer erwachsen wird und ein Kind bleibt, ist ein Mensch" war ein Credo seines Lebens. Als 18-Jähriger musste er in den Ersten Weltkrieg, aus dem er schwer herzleidend zurückkehrte, nach dem Studium der Germanistik promovierte er 1925 zum Dr.phil. und ging von seiner Geburtsstadt Dresden nach Berlin, der zu jener Zeit lebendigsten und aufregendsten Großstadt der Welt. Sein Geld verdiente er in Buch- und Zeitschriftenverlagen, seine Liebe aber galt dem Schreiben. "Emil und die Detektive" erschien 1928 als sein erstes Kinderbuch, das zwei Jahre später seine Theaterpremiere hatte mit Theo Lingen als Grundeis. Im selben Jahr, 1930, erwarb die Ufa die Filmrechte. Neben Erich Kästner wurde als Drehbuchautor der Ungar Emmerich Pressburger engagiert. Die beiden Enthusiasten arbeiteten in den Kitzbüheler Bergen am Drehbuch. Ungeachtet der Qualität eines Drehbuchs war es damals bei der Ufa üblich, einen dritten Drehbuchschreiber zu engagieren. Dieser dritte Mann hieß Billy Wilder. Der Film wurde ein Riesenerfolg und lief auch noch nach der Machtergreifung der Nazis 1933 in den Kinos, als Kästners Werke bereits verboten waren.

Source text - English The name Al Shaqab is very significant in the history of Qatar as a nation state. It is the name of a small fortress that in 1893 was the site of a fierce battle that marked the independence and the authority of the Al Thani dynasty. Sheikh Qasim bin Muhammad (1876–1913), who was the son of the founder of the Al Thani dynasty, Muhammad bin Thani (1868–1876), in a bid to protect his people from the Al Khalifah of Bahrain, allowed the Ottomans to station a garrison in Doha. In return for their protection, the Ottomans had imposed many conditions on how Sheikh Qasim was to rule the district of Qatar. Unable to accept the high taxes and conditions for very long, Sheikh Qasim made his refusal to comply very clear. The Ottomans in response decided to dispatch a considerable force to subdue Sheikh Qasim and his people. On the 13 March 1893, the Ottoman wali, Hafiz Pasha, deployed the full might of his cavalry, infantry and artillery troops. He settled at Al Shaqab. Not to be outsmarted, Sheikh Qasim had already gathered round three to four thousand men from the Arab tribes of Qatar. They were outnumbered, but with their camels and beloved warhorses, armed with Martini-Henry rifles, they fought a valiant and bloody battle with considerable human sacrifice. However, after the first day, it was clear that Sheikh Qasim bin Muhammad Al Thani and his men had emerged victorious and had established the Al Thani dynasty as the true rulers of Qatar once and for all.
It would seem symbolically appropriate, given the role that Qatari Arabian horses have played in the establishment of Qatar as an independent state, that the current Amir of Qatar, His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, should name this magnificent establishment, The Al Shaqab Stud. Today the stables that were once part of the old fortress are still standing and in use. It is the alabaster coloured walls found there, that inspired photographer, Vanessa von Zitzewitz, to believe that this could become the focal point of a new photography project.
Vanessa had been coming to Qatar for four years as an official portrait photographer of the family of His Highness, the Amir of Qatar. As an accomplished horsewoman and curious of the reputation of the Al Shaqab Stud, she had asked if a visit was possible. Fascinated and amazed, Vanessa tried some test shots and immediately showed them to Her Excellency Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad Al Thani, head of the Qatar Museum Authority and daughter of His Highness, the Amir of Qatar. Upon this meeting Vanessa was commissioned by Her Excellency Sheikha Al Mayassa to work on a full and detailed photographic documentation of life at Al Shaqab.
This project has taken Vanessa two years to complete, having stayed at Al Shaqab many days and nights. Her ambition was to reveal every aspect of the daily lives of these noble creatures and in a tribute to the dedicated staff, has managed to transform routine tasks into glorious deeds. She was given unparalleled access to all the great champions including Gazal Al Shaqab, his son Marwan Al Shaqab and Al Adeed Al Shaqab, all three of which are World Champions, bred at The Al Shaqab Stud. In November 2008 she spent ten nights sleeping in the stable waiting for the broodmare Halima do drop her foal. She managed to take some magnificent underwater shots of the horses in the exercise pools, as well as spending endless time, harmoniously with these majestic animals, in the quiet sandy enclosures searching for the unique shot. There are today, over two hundred horses stabled at Al Shaqab in a world class facility spread over four hundred acres. The breeding program and resources available is rivalled by few and on the strength of its success, His Highness, the Amir of Qatar, has decided to extend the facilities by adding another two hundred acres that will include a history museum, scientific laboratories, offices and additional racing tracks.
Translation - Spanish El nombre Al Shaqab está íntimamente ligado a la historia de Qatar como estado: Es el nombre de una pequeña fortaleza que en 1893 fue escenario de una cruenta batalla que fue el punto de partida de la independencia y el poder de la dinastía Al Thani. En un intento de proteger a su gente de la dinastía Al Khalifah de Bahrain, el jeque Qasim bin Muhammad (1876–1913), hijo de Muhammad bin Thani (1868–1876), el fundador de la dinastía Al Thani, permitió a los otomanos estacionar una guarnición en Doha. Hoy día las cuadras que formaron parte de la vieja fortaleza todavía están en pie y en uso. Y fueron precisamente los muros originales de color alabastro los que inspiraron a la fotógrafa Vanessa von Zitzewitz la idea de un nuevo proyecto fotográfico.
Cuatro años atrás, Vanessa había venido a Qatar como fotógrafa oficial de la familia de Su Alteza el Emir de Qatar. Debido a sus dotes de amazona y atraída por la reputación del criadero Al Shaqab, Vanessa manifestó su interés de visitar las cuadras. Fascinada y asombrada, Vanessa hizo algunas fotos de prueba y se las enseñó a Su Excelencia la Jeque Al Mayassa bint Hamad Al Thani, directora del Qatar Museum Authority e hija de Su Alteza el Emir de Qatar. A raíz de este encuentro, Su Excelencia la Jeque Al Mayassa encomendó a Vanessa la realización de una documentación fotográfica exhaustiva sobre la vida en Al Shaqab.
Pare completar este proyecto Vanessa ha necesitado dos años y ha pasado numerosos días y noches en Al Shaqab. Su propósito era revelar cada aspecto de la vida cotidiana de estas nobles creaturas y rendir un tributo al dedicado equipo, transfigurando labores rutinarias en gloriosas hazañas. Se le concedió un privilegio excepcional: el acceso incondicional a todos los grandes campeones, incluyendo a Gazal Al Shaqab, su hijo Marwan Al Shaqab y Al Adeed Al Shaqab, los tres Campeones Mundiales y nacidos en el criadero Al Shaqab. En noviembre de 2008 pasó diez noches durmiendo en las caballerizas, esperando el nacimiento del potro de la yegua Halima. Realizó magníficas fotos subacuáticas de los caballos ejercitándose en las piscinas y pasó muchas horas en completa armonía con estas majestuosas criaturas en los tranquilos y arenosos recintos, buscando la foto ideal.
