            • 学校教室内での学習には、教師が公認カリキュラムに沿い作成したプログラムに沿って、児童生徒が段階を経て学んでいく過程がある。そのような公式学習とは違って、教育機関の外枠で、実際に経験しながら学んでいく過程が非公式学習や経験学習であり、自発的に学習意図のある場合も偶発的な場合もある。 自転車に乗って自分で学習するのは学習意図のあるものであるか自己学習、自己啓発ともいえる。 自然と知らず知らずのうちに覚えていた、というのは偶発的なものであり 「門前の小僧が、お経を覚える」ということもそのひとつである。 ヘアドレッサーやメカニックの見習い修行をするのも経験学習である。それは教師と生徒という立場でなく、経験豊富な人をモデルとして技術を（盗んで）身につけていく過程であり特定なカリキュラムがあるわけではなく、これもinformal learningと言える。 「ならう」という言葉には｢習う(learn)」のほかに｢倣う（immitate）という意味のことばもある。「他人の振り見て輪が振り直せ」（Watch others' behaviours and correct your own behaviour)ということわざにもあるように、他の人のやり方を見てまねして学ぶという経験学習は典型的な非公式学習である。 もともと、「まなぶ」の語源は「まねをすること・まねぶ」ことである、ともいう。 そのような学習過程を、数学・算数にあてはめた、認知的見習い学習、という言葉もある。 Own research - by Yumico Tanaka (X)
