Adam, It looks like www.idiominc.com is now up and running (thank you for letting me to check again), but it was totally unreachable at the time I was looking for the particular version of Idiom Workbench. See more Adam, It looks like www.idiominc.com is now up and running (thank you for letting me to check again), but it was totally unreachable at the time I was looking for the particular version of Idiom Workbench. Although it is up and running now, it looks like almost all links are modified to jump to pages located on their acquirer's (SDL.com) domain finally. I had already spent more than an hour before posting my question here. Only file I could locate and download was of version 9.0.1.60. (And even now, the version available via http://www.idiominc.com/en/worldserver-desktop-workbench-download.asp is still 9.0.1.60 only.) Perhaps I should have included all these backgrounds with my question, and lack of doing so might have made my question looks pretty dumb to your eyes. However, for a successful translator like you, I do not think it cool nor helpful just copying and pasting the link you suggested. Thanks, terra

I was able to install Idiom on my desktop but the file does not open (I run a Brazilian Portuguese Windows 7, the rest is English but I write in FR). I get an error message: Go to Control panel, region and languages, Options and set the option for the correct source and target languages. I reset the FR and the US EN to their default value but still unable to open the file. Then, I installed Idiom on a HP laptop running on genuine Windows 7 Home edition... Hello again, Nicholas, Again, many thanks for your help two years ago! I think that is a great way to share the software! I am just simply amazed that there is still a pretty high demand for the discontinued CAT tool in the industry. Have a lovely day! Ayako (aka terra_a_terra) | |
