I have had to resort to disabling all messaging from my profile. In the past year or so I think I had just one contact that led to anything meaningful. | | | expressisverbis Portugal Local time: 12:44 Member (2015) English to Portuguese + ... TOPIC STARTER

I Keep receiving them, too | | | O G V Spain Member (2019) French to Spanish + ... almost every week arrives alsmot same message | Jan 25 |
saying they found my profile at same translators.pub.com... offering a job from a gmail account.
I always mark this kind of message as phishing even it seems they keep on sending them. I was not aware there is such an structure behind with false or ghosts banks... Is worrying when they arrive to do that.
I suggest everyone to mark as scammers/phishing through the mail server/company and never answer as that probably would lead to more false proposals...

Can someone please explain what these scammers are trying to get out of this? It seems strange that they want a free translation. What would they even need it for? It's not like they can resell it to someone.
