Black display in AUTOCAD

Hello Everyone,

I am trying to open an AUTOCAD drawing and when I open the file the display appears in black.

This is quite strange, as when I select the document on the path the drawing scheme appears indicated on the left of the selection window.

So, that means that the drawing does exist but it cannot open in AUTOCAD.

Am I doing something wrong?

Hi,

Try select "view > zoom > all" or click "zoom all" icon.

If it doesn't work, maybe layers that contain drawings were turned off. Click the bulb icons next to the layer names in the layer toolbox to turn on the layers.

I assume you are at the beginner's level, if not, you may find these solutions ridiculous:)

Try to switch display mode between model and layouts (tabs at the bottom of the screen above command promt).

Hello everyone,

I am afraid there is a problem with this file.

I have tried all your tips, but only a path appears when I click on the layout.

I have Autocad 2005 and maybe this version is for Autocad 2006??

Can this be a possible explanation?
