Good afternoon.

I'm new to sdlx, and I was wondering if anyone had an answer to the question stated in the subject-line. I have various small .mdb-files that I want to use to make one big .mdb-file, but no matter what I try it doesn't work. Should I use one of the other programs in Trados to make the TM?

This might come across as a stupid question for proficient users of this program, but I've translated handwritten and hard copied documents up until now, so translation

Hi Magnus,

You can do this in the Maintain module of SDLX.

Select Maintain from the Switchboard, create a new TM or open one of your already existing ones, and select TM > Import > SDLX Files and Translation Memories. In the dialog box that is displayed, select all the TMs that you want to import and click your way through the wizard.

Hi Magnus,

You can do this in the Maintain module of SDLX.

By the way, in SDLX it's not really necessary to create one big TM out of several smaller once because (unlike in Trados) you can open as many TMs as you like at the same time.

Hope this helps.

Best regards,
Claudia
