Hi,

I searched through the posts and didn't find anything on this subject, I wonder if this is happening to somebody
else.

I have been struggling with a bug in Trados Studio (currently I use 2019), where the text inserted with Autosuggest becomes all uppercase, or the first letter is lower then the rest is upper, or even a mixture or lower and upper spread within the string. else.

I have been struggling with a bug in Trados Studio (currently I use 2019), where the text inserted with Autosuggest becomes all uppercase, or the first letter is lower then the rest is upper, or even a mixture or lower and upper spread within the string. This is very annoying and consumes time by having to change the string to the correct case. This happens irrespective of the Caps Lock being on of off.

Does it show the correct/appropriate capitalization when the options are presented to you, but then the capitalization gets messed up when the text is inserted? Or does it show the jumbled capitalization in the suggestions too?

Does it do this with suggestions from all origins, or only from specific origins? (Sorry, I don't use Autosuggest myself, but I see in this video that there are many different sources for Autosuggest, sometimes indicated by a different coloured icon, sometimes not.)

Thanks for answering, Samuel. The capitalization is jumbled both in options and inserted text, it does not work like as neatly as in the video. I wonder if anyone is getting this as well. It is very annoying and consumes time, as I mentioned before. Autosuggestion is really helpful but this problem makes it useless. I hope it will be solved soon, I hope it is noticed.

It keeps happening for me, Trados 2021 Nov 8, 2022

WhiLE TYping, autosuggest causes such errors. Without touching shift or caps lock.
